Banshee BCI Group 31M Dual Purpose Deep Cycle Sealed AGM Marine & RV Battery

Cycled daily for close to a year now and still doing well.

This battery is surely a beast at best! When I say it's a beast I mean it even weighs nearly too much for USPS to deliver it. We received a missed delivery notice, but managed to sweet talk the driver one day and he ran to the post office and delivered it no problem for us. This hooks right up just as it should and really puts out some power. While this is an RV/Marine battery and we have used it for such things, my husband has also used this in a car while just tinkering with things in the car to get it to run and it definitely packed a punch. You absolutely cannot go wrong with this, as it will cover your needs in so many ways!

I'm really pleased with the performance of this battery. Well-made, albeit a little heavier than I thought it would be, charges back to 100% every time I run it down. It outperforms the deep-cycle batteries I've purchased from the local auto parts store.

This Banshee BCI Group 31M AGM- 105 AH- battery, is definitely heavy and the more lead plates- the higher power that can be stored and retrieved when needed. This battery seems to be top quality and heavy duty with two great connecting terminals and with the bolt on terminals- I was able to easily install this battery into an existing battery bank of 11 other- similar-85 AH to 125 AH batteries-all deep cycle- out at an off-grid cabin and now I have the magic number of 12- all wired parallel for 12 volts. A 3500-watt inverter draws of the battery bank and 6- 325-watt-12-volt panels- charge everything through an Outback 80 AMP-MPPT-charge controller. This battery is at least one third heavier in weight than my other batteries-and an excellent addition to my system. Refrigerator, ice makers, lights, tv, water pressure pump, etc. all run easily with power to spare. Excellent well- made battery with a definite purpose- being deep cycle and sealed! Totally top choice- great find!

I'm new to Banshee-branded batteries, but I'm already impressed. The battery arrived with a 12.9-volt charge. It is a sealed, non-maintenance, 31M group, full-size battery. In addition to your standard battery posts, it also has a pair of secondary standard-size bolt-side-by-post mounts that came with attached nuts. The battery is a monster, weighing in at almost 70 lbs. The outer shell is well constructed of impact plastic with sealed seams and has an integrated carrying handle that appears to be a nylon-poly blend that easily slips out of the way and doesn't add any additional height to the battery. I got this for use as a supplemental power source in the coach of a class C motorhome. Also to act as an emergency booster for the starter battery. In temperatures of 29 degrees F, this battery cranked my rig right up. I currently have it disconnected and set outside to measure it's self-discharge rate. But within the last 24 hours, it has had no measurable discharge up to a tenth of a volt. An incredible 104 aH capacity is a big claim, and I'm eager to put this to the test. So far, I'm not only impressed with it's construction but with its performance as well. The most convenient thing for me is it's ability to be mounted in any position needed. The only thing I would have liked to have been included would be a pair of anti-corrosion wafers for the battery posts, since I can't seem to find a pair in my toolbox. There was a slight amount of corrosion on the negative post upon arrival. Usually a sign of undercharging. But it could also be from a possibly bad seal around the negative battery post, which looks questionable to me. I've cleaned up the posts and am monitoring them to see if additional corrosion occurs, and I will report back.

Regrettably, my experience with the Banshee BCI Group 31M Dual Purpose Deep Cycle Sealed AGM Marine & RV Battery has been disappointing. Despite its dual-purpose design, it failed to hold the necessary voltage to power my off grid cabin.Seeking assistance from the seller proved unfruitful, as attempts to replace the battery were met with resistance. The lack of support and willingness to address the issue significantly impacts my overall review and recommendation. Unfortunately, due to its inability to maintain a proper charge, I cannot recommend this product.Quality customer service is vital, and the absence of it has left a lasting impression on my satisfaction with this purchase.

I'm happy with the performance of this battery, I'm just not fond of carrying around. It's even heavier than my deep cycle trolling motor battery of the same capacity. Definitely not LiPO in weight, but it should have better cold weather performance. So far, I've used it with a 100-Watt portable solar panel and charge controller and a 1250-watt pure sine wave inverter to run some powerful LED lights, and I've been really happy with the performance. Truthfully, this is probably not putting a ton of stress on the battery since I'm only pulling about 500 watts with the lights at full output, but it's been a nice, reliable power source for what I need.I'm sure somebody else has done some more scientific testing that can better compare the hard numbers of this battery to other options, I don't pretend to be set up to do that. I can tell you that I appreciate the multiple connection options on top, and that it's done everything I've asked it to do. Now I just have to get this set up on a cart so I don't have to keep picking it up!

This battery has been powering my small off grid cabin by itself for months now. I have it connected to a 100 watt solar panel with a good solar controller and it is just perfect. I only use the cabin on weekends but this battery provides my lighting and charges my phones and tablet with ease, even a 12 volt water pump for sink duty. If my power demands increase I can simply add another solar panel as I think this battery has plenty of capacity for my needs. It is a very heavy lead acid battery which is awesome. Its is also zero maintenance. It has endured some below freezing temperatures lately and is still going strong. I am very satisfied with this one.
