While I am quite cynical when it comes to makes and names when it comes to RAM chips I went by the other reviews and took a gamble. The gamble paid off as this memory works perfectly fine and I (touch wood) have had no issues at all with it. I have a mid-2012 Macbook Pro which is a little long in the tooth now but I dock it and very much jump between Windows workstations and my own Macbook.Although I have got 2 SSDs in my MBP as I replaced the DVD drive with a caddy and installed a second HDD I have found the extra RAM has just kept everything flowing nicely. Yes its still a little slow at times but given the age of this laptop and running Mohave it runs perfectly within my tolerances.RAM on any Macbook Pro is going to be a fiddle to install but if you have the patience to undo all of those screws then you will be rewarded with easy access and a slightly faster laptop. Unless you are using big apps which eat RAM then dont expect a huge gain. Those massive gains are only had with also adding SSDs where youve removed all of the possible bottlenecks. I can report Ive had no issues with stability. Even if you experience any yourself then you should know that not everything is made perfect, some have defects, and there are way too many variables which contribute to issues.Worth the money if you wish to extend the life of your old faithful machine!

I have a Dell Latitude laptop that I use for gaming. It came with only 4gb of RAM installed, so badly needed an upgrade. After a lot of research and questions, I finally find out it could run up to 16gb in the two memory slots it has (ie, 2 x 8gb RAM). I've never really had to open up a laptop before, and was really wary of doing something wrong and messing up the laptop, but after a bit of trial and error, I worked it out. For the price, this RAM is excellent, no issues so far, and laptop is running so much better. This RAM is a lot cheaper than you'll find elsewhere I think, and would recommend it. Sellers are polite too, they sent an email to check if it had arrived safely, and if it was working ok

Bought 2x 8GB ram cards, they arrived the same day and they were fitted by myself within 2 minutes and I'm no tech engineer, they're so easy to install. I've got a 2012 imac and it was so slow that even web pages would take ages to load up, fitted these along side the standard 2X4GB rams cardsthat it came with and I now have 24GB and noticed an instant difference, I'll be buying 2 more 8GB cards to get 32GB of ram now I've tried these. I do a lot of photo editing so I'll. See what it's like using light room but everything up to now has made it almost like a new computer! Huge bonus after I qas quoted over £400 for a new hard drive!

Unfortunately, I had to return this item. My son broke the laptop trying to open it and then found there were not enough slots. Despite opening one of the packs, I returned them and was swiftly refunded in full. Very good service.

Whilst my MacBook pro has always been a good laptop, at nearly 9 years old at the time of writing this review having already had an SSD drive added to it, with just 8GB or RAM already in it I felt it was time to do the memory upgrade, and it's made the machine much more responsive, I suspect it was doing a lot of Memory swapping in order to run previously, and I am somewhat of a power user. At the this price it was a no brainier to be honest and I'd recommend this memory, I've used other well known brands previously which are more expensive, but this works perfectly!

Arrived quickly and they work well. What's not to like.

It was delivered very fast as per usual by Amazon courier. Took the iMac to the engineer and it was installed in less than a hour. The iMac need custom sealing on the screen display after work is done.

Give a new lease of life to your laptop. Why spend hundreds of pounds on a new laptop, when just upgrading the memory does the job. Memory cards detected OK from cold start. No need to go via BIOS setup new memory. Good value for money, would buy again if needed.Please note always buy memory in indentical pairs, else your PC will use the lower spec memory card even against your newly purchased memory card, this is not a fault but how it works.
