Worked Flawlessly, Saved me Money, Easy to Do
Worked perfectly for us. Applied some additional refrigerant to a 2011 Mazda 3 that quit cooling. The hoses are nice and long, allowing you to hold the can well away from the engine bay. We did not note any leakage as the put the refrigerant in. Worked well with the self-sealing can that we bought at our local "super-center" store for about $9. Overall this is a great upgrade to an old "plastic" unit that I had. This is such a good deal and easy to use, don't pay for a mechanic on this job and save some of your hard earned money.

Works as designed
Did what I needed it to. Gauge seemed to work as it should. Added both oil and freon to my vehicle with no issues.

Brass fittings, long hose, low price.
My old kit had plastic fittings that cracked. The long hose and brass fittings make this kit very durable and easy to use. I used it to top off the refrigerant on my Acadia and everything fit well and went as planned. The Acadia low pressure fitting is barely reachable, but the fitting popped on easily. This is a great recharge kit for the money. Bought an extra one for my mechanic friend.

Almost excellent
The fittings and manual valves are not 100% tight. Could be because they are not "broken in," benefit of the doubt. Apart from that, a good product. The line length is ideal for just about any car.

Junk valve that attached to can doesn't close an open properly
This was some junk Chinese product and the valve didn't work right you couldn't open and close it properly without it stripping out. So, you couldn't tighten anything, you could never tell if it was open or closed, and I did multiple tests with the pressure and sometimes you would get pressure through sometimes you wouldn't. It just depended on what it felt like doing - random. You had to have it in the right position. It was like trying to operate a TV antenna from the 1960s when we had to stand there in a perfect position. It was a total nightmare. Moreover, it is not set up to allow you to just check the pressure on your car without having something on the other end of the hose to block that end, to create a pressure loo. So you can't just use this by itself to check your car pressure, so i just hooked up the can on the other side and closed off the can, once I jiggled the valve into the certain right position, which takes forever to figure it out (random). The whole thing was just junk especially that valve - that goes on to the can. I'm not stupid. I could have completed this job easily with functioning equipment.

Readable Guage!
I have a short hose gauge and it works but the long hose is much better. I like the gauge its easy to readand has the colored sections for quick referencing. The price is right and for the amount of times I will use it, it will last me my life time. I don't need highend tools anymore, so it works for me.

Does not have right angle connector or shutoff valve
Works. However, it would have been helpful to have a right angle connector, since my low pressure port is located under the air intake, and it was quite difficult to seat the quick connect fitting. Also, it doesn't have a screw-type shutoff at the connector, so the disconnect is done with some pressure in the system, even with the engine off, and was difficult to do. I bought a right angle connector with shutoff separately. Also, it didn't come with any instructions on how to use the scale on the meter at different ambient temperatures. But it does the job.
