I use it liberally and keep the bottle somewhere cool and dark--could see the plastic taste leeching if kept in this bottle somewhere hot or sunny.Make sure you shake it before use as vanilla bean particles do settle to the bottom.Add a little extra to leavened baked goods and I find in addition to a nice strong vanilla flavor, the readily boiling alcohol content really helps keep them light and airy.
