Perfect protection for your pond fountain pump
For years, I kept buying one pond fountain pump after another. But after a short time, they would get clogged up and stop working, even after frequent cleaning. Then I read about these protective bags for the pumps, and am thrilled to bits that my pump is not getting gummed up. However, you will need to hose down the bag to remove bits of plants and other debris every few days. That's so much easier than cleaning the pump. I saw the pump had slowed down this morning and I hosed down the bag and it's working just fine again. I'm pretty happy.

Perfect
I connected a pump to two spitting herons with a splitter. Previously the pump and spitters were clogging all the time. With this bag, so far so good. Neither the pump nor the spitters have clogged in over a week!

Just what I needed
I have a smaller pond pump that works 24/7 that would clog often. It pushes water through the UV light tube. My second larger pump doesn't need this. Haven't had any issues since installation. Having the extra is nice.

Helps keep pump in pond clear.
Awesome product! My waterfall was constantly stop running from debris in my Koi pond. Now with my pump in this bag my pond is running again non-stop.

The mesh is too big, the web too thick
Compared to a "real" bag that I got at a pump store, the holes are too big in this bag, some needles and stuff still get through. Also, the flow on the "real" bag was much better.

Works great
The bag exceeded my expectations. It works exactly the way I need it to. One extra added value is it helped to really clear up my little pond. Only small negative, it is bigger than what I needed. Not sure if it came in a smaller size.

Great quality mesh design
This product has a very good quality mesh design. Before my pump for my aquaponics would get clogged from debris or the fiber filters I have. Its been about 6 months since I purchased this and so far not one clog has occured. Versus clogging that would happen about every other day. This is a overall great product to have and very easy to clean when not using also.

We had issues with are fountain getting block weekly after installing this now that have that issue and its easy to install works fantastic
