The thumbnail and the image on the product page are not what I received. The one in the thumbnail shows horizontal lines, mine doesn't have that. The one I got says "Elora" and "made in India". It does not say Linex.The print was already scratching off when I opened it! It's also bowed up, so it doesn't lie flat! Horrible. Feels like a terrible waste.This is extremely poor quality. And now the money is spent it's not even worth attempting to return it.This makes me question Amazon marketplace.Do not buy this! I wish I trudged into town and went shopping. Would have taken me 2.5 hours, but would have been worth it.

I bought this as a replacement for my lost metal ruler (I use it for calligraphy spacings and paper cutting). This 15cm one is both narrow and thin, so certainly doesn't take up much space! It comes in a plastic holder for protection from scratches which is helpful.My only negative would be that the first 3cm are separated by 0.5mm marker lines. These are actually so close together they're hard to count - partly due to the lack of contrast between the black lines and the shiny/dark grey metal and partly due to the 0.5 and 1mm lines being of fairly similar lengths to one another. The remaining 12cm are more clearly marked at 1mm spacings as usual, so it's not a major problem and certainly won't stop me using it happily.

Strange how something as simple as a piece of steel used to draw lines with can make a massive difference.I bought this because I was sick of the little plastic things where the scale gets scratched off over time till you can't read it any more, and gets stained by even the slightest of inks or graphite. Hopeless is a good word.This though is great, non of the issues I said above and it does look very nice. I'm a major nerd with stuff like this. Very nice quality and price is good considering you can pay a lot for something like this.

Don't snap or crack like plasticky ones. Fit in pencil case and no awkward ridges for my son with Autism who struggles to draw lines when the ruler is not totally flat.

Just what I needed. Marked up in metric an imperial (of course - you saw the pics right? ;) ).Little to say - except that it's actually square which is more that can be said for some others (check the reviews!)

It was small, so I can put it into my pencil case. The material is steel, so it won't get cut when I am doing my craft project.

Ruler arrived promptly and is great, needed a stainless steel one for working in the kitchen as a chef, scale is clear and easy to use. for the tiny price and quick delivery its great, One niggle is the edges were a bit sharp but i ran my steel down the edges and problem solved

Handy tool for taking measurements, or as a guide for a blade of some variety.. Bit bendy, but overall good enough.

Ich habe mir dieses Lineal gekauft, um es in der Bullet-Journal-Tasche (Notizbuch) zu lagern und so immer dabei zu haben. Das sehr dünne Lineal ist flexibel, sodass leichte Unebenheiten des Papiers ausgeglichen werden. Bei zu starker Belastung kommt es wahrscheinlich zu dauerhaften Verformungen.Die Skala ist exakt und genau bei 0 abgeschnitten, was sehr praktisch ist.Der hochwertige Eindruck wird ein wenig durch die sehr scharfen Kanten getrübt. Besonders die Ecken am 0-er Ende sind so scharfkantig, dass man sich selbst Verletzten oder das Papier zerschneiden könnte, wenn man unachtsam damit umgeht.+genaue Skala+hochwertig-scharfe Kanten und Ecken

Ich war auf der Suche nach einem kurzen Lineal mit 0,5 mm Einteilung und bin dann auf dieses hier von Linex gestoßen, welches ich dann auch direkt bestellt habe.Eine wirklich sehr hochwertige Qualität was man hier bekommt. Das Lineal wird in einer Plastikhülle geliefert.Die ersten 3 cm haben eine 0,5 mm Unterteilung. Das ist etwas schade dass dieser Bereich für diese Unterteilung nicht größer ist. Auf der unteren Hälfte findet man noch eine Inch Skalierung.Rückseitig ist noch eine Umrechnungstabelle zwischen Inch und Milimeter aufgedruckt.Der Druck der Skalierung ist sehr hochwertig und lässt sich auch nicht abkratzen! Deshalb vergebe ich hier auch volle 5 Sterne für dieses Lineal!

Was soll man schon groß über ein Lineal philosophieren. Es ist sehr schick, hat zwar keine scharfen Kanten, ein Kind könnte sich damit aber trotzdem verletzen und wird vermutlich daher mit einer Plastik-Einsteckhülle geliefert. Es weißt sowohl eine cm Skala bis 15 cm auf, als auch eine inch Skala bis 6 in. Auf der Rückseite gibt es dann auch noch eine sehr umfangreiche Umrechnungstabelle von Inch in Millimeter. Ich find es super und hoffe, dass es lange hält!
