It's lard. Which is fantastic if you are trying to avoid cooking sprays
You can use lard in baking, but personally I prefer to use it as a replacement for cooking sprays. I will often coat my pans with it then put it in the oven. Which is a more natural alternative to the sprays. It is a bit messy so you need parchment paper or wax paper to apply it. And it would be really nice if this particular lard bucket had a handle.

Great size
I use this brand to make my bird suet. Great value and I can make 20 trays. Does not melt in the heat outside

Good Consistency, Good Size
Used to buy Armour lard in 1 pound pkgs, but often too soft for use as bird suet. Found these tubs are better.
