Very good!
It keeps working all the time in my flat. Nothing breaks.Only thing which is a flow of this fan is that it makes a little noise when it's set to move but nothing major and actually I even enjoy this noise haha

This is an awful fan. What happened to Black & Decker?
This fan is terrible. Not only does it feel incredibly cheap like something you'd buy out of Poundland or something along those lines, but it's a window into the past where fans are still extremely annoying to put together with a tiny hole that requires a tiny screw to fully secure the blade cover - and the cap in the middle of the cover isn't even attached, you have to do that manually too with screws provided and it couldn't even line up perfectly symmetrical. The fan blades don't slot on securely - you remove a metal ring and then slot the fan blades over a metal rod, there's no bar to secure your fan in place, making it more sturdy to support spinning at a faster speed or for the fan itself to push more air out, or even to stop the blades from shaking around. This is a massive flaw in its design and holds it back absolutely and completely.Due to this design flaw the fan is a complete mess. There's absolutely no difference between Setting 1 and Setting 2 in regards to airflow or even a noticable change in motor sound or blade speed, and even on speed 1 the fan is rattling and vibrating constantly due to the way it is secured to the metal rod inside. And the actual airflow? What airflow? My girlfriend has a laptop fan with a head about the size of a coaster for drinks, and that thing puts out more airflow than this does, it's ridiculous. I can't even feel this fan blowing air out from 30cm away even on speed setting 2. It's worthless!I bought a Black & Decker fan years ago from someone selling it online, and it was terrible. I always assumed it was because it was a used fan which was why it was so bad...but I've heard nothing but bad things about Black & Decker for ages. They used to be a great brand, like in the 90s - I have no idea what has happened to them to make them fall this far with this low quality garbage that doesn't even work.Anyway - avoid this fan, unless you enjoy wasting electricity for no reason, anyway.

It works.
Before I bought this item I read a few reviews - some extremely negative - but, because 'Black+Decker' is {in my 'mind'} a brand to be respected, I took a gamble, and bought it anyway. Yes, there are cheaper products which may be as good/better, but life's too short to horse around. The fan is on whilst I type. And, its gentle breeze, and soothing sound, is most calming. I'm an arthritic old individual who has problems with fingers and thumbs, but - and, I'm useless at 'technical things' - it took me less than 5 minutes to put together. And, it cost less than £20 {sterling}. It would be inappropriate for me to criticize the reviewers who made negative comments, but I feel compelled to say that they probably have their heads up a place where the sun never shines.

Its ok
Good size for the summer. Not too noisy. Only problem is that it took me a little while to set it up and put it together. Did it wrong the first time and had to undo it all. Quite cheaply made too but you get what you pay for, overall - its a good product for the money.

Extremely disappointing- in every way
I wouldn’t bother wasting your money. I thought this was a full-sized desk fan - my fault for not looking properly, but for the price (£15.99), I just assumed it would be fully-sized. So, that was disappointing. Then I turned it on; it is so noisy! It spins at a normal rate and then starts speeding up and makes a weird whirring noise and then it slows down again. Very strange. It only has two settings, so that sucks, especially as it literally doesn’t blow any air. I had my face right in front of it and I could barely feel a thing. I had bought this to keep my rabbit cool during the 30+degree heat we were experiencing, but this thing wouldn’t cool down a cricket. Absolute waste of money. Might as well buy a full-size desk fan somewhere else for the exact same price; and that will actually keep you cool!
