Common sense in print!
Fantastic explanation and application of the three principles!. I've read many books on meditation and awareness so I was able to understand and experience what she said. Loved the book.Recently I was at a small social function where a lady was having to deal with a son who suffers from PTSD which he got when he was in the army. He currently is somewhere in the Arizona desert hiding from imagined enemies. She mentioned Syd's name. I was surprised and delighted that such understanding had reached Hot Springs, Arkansas.Bless you Elsie for spreading Syd's message.

Everyday experiences to deepen understanding of the principles
This book by Elsie Spittle is about the Three Principles of Mind, Consciousness and Thought, as uncovered by her friend Sydney Banks. However this is presented through Elsie's own personal experience and those of her clients. At first I found it almost too normal as her stories cover all kinds of everyday experiences. But that is the point. The principles explain how our experience is made up (literally) and they are at work all the time. I am sure that, like me, you will find that some of these stories resonate with your own experience and perhaps you too will have insights into how these Principles are at work in your own life. For that you will be grateful to Elsie (and to Sydney Banks).I am sure I will be rereading this book from time to time as there are new things to discover from Elsie's experience. That is the joy of being, like Elsie Spittle, a lifetime student of the Principles.

A very direct and personal view
This is a very personal, honest and direct account of living and teaching the Three Principles. Personal, because Elsie talks solely about her experiences, rather than speculating on things outside of what we can directly know. Honest, because it acknowledges that once an understanding of the Principles is realized, life is still not necessarily plain sailing, even for Elsie herself. Direct, because it keeps on reminding us to keep on looking to the Principles and their nature, rather than our world of thought. For anyone who has had contact with the Three Principles this is a must-read book, because it addresses the key question: "What do I do now?".

An wonderful book!
Our True Identity is an amazing book which points to the true essence of the Three Principles. This is a book of real depth that points towards a better way of living. As I read, I found myself constantly pausing and reflecting on what was being presented. Countless passages were highlighted. If you want a deeper understanding of the Three Principles, purchase the book!

Essential facts
I love this book - the first half of it I felt some annoyance, why wasn't she getting to the point? Why all this praise of Syd Banks etc. But then it dawned on me - these are just thoughts - my thoughts - not reality. Reality is that this book is about love and the gift of true indsigt. Quieting down and just being open get you there! I feel this wisdom described as Three Principles reaching my heart from the inside out

Really glad to have this book
Really good book about the human experience in general and the Three Principles in particular. I am relatively new to studying 3P and find it very interesting and useful information. This book is one I will return to and read a section or two at a time, let it marinate, and do this over and over again, I am sure.

Amazing 👍🏼
I love reading about the 3 Principles. We all get so caught up in thought and reactions. Reading this book was very heart opening for me. Life just doesn't have to be so hard as we THINK it is.Great book, well written and definitely worth reading!

Disappointed
I've read several books that purport to be about the 'Three Principles', but which simply assume you already know what they are and never give you any information about them. This is another one.Maybe this book makes sense if you know what the Three Principles are, but to me it was just a lot of waffle.I'd be grateful if anyone could recommend a book that actually details what the Three Principles are.

The Three Principles
Elsie Spittle was a neighbour and friend of the late Sydney Banks. After he had his 'revelation' of the Three Principles, Elsie was not convinced and was even angry, thinking that her friendship with Sydney and his wife couldn't survive. However, very gradually, she began to grasp what the Three Principles actually mean. After that, she became involved in teaching these principles to others and it became her life. Her voice comes through simply and clearly in this book. She was a housewife who became a teacher to people from all walks of life and the stories she tells bring the message to us all. At the end of his life, Sydney Banks was concerned that his message was becoming muddied by the input of some of the people involved, but he endorsed Elsie, as a clean messenger.

Inspirational
I found this book to enlightening and powerful., The fundamental principles described in the book are very much in line with my personal views on Spirituality. This book is not only credible, in terms of the authors authenticity the approach it advocates makes perfect sense. I have now ordered several books by Sydney Banks.

I am the thinker and these are my thoughts...
Crikey this is good! I don't know if it's true or not but, quite frankly, I don't care. Elsie truly believes it and that's all that matters. I've read Syd's stuff and that's good too. And Mr Pransky. And latterly Jamie Smart and Michael Neill. I don't need academic proof. My mind is well and truly blown. Thank you Elsie x

Wonderful
I loved this book. Elsie is a lovely person, I had the pleasure of attending one of her talks. Being in her presence gave me a real feel for the principles. Syd Banks would say "Don't listen to my words, listen for a feeling". Elsie conveys this in such a beautiful way, I would read anything she writes.
