TRUTH. Tough questions. Unblinking honesty. Your Production ministry needs to read this book!
This book is a resource! I thought I'd read cool stories of Todd's production background... but this book quickly became SOOO much more- it's a tool meant to help you AND your production ministry. The chapters are short and easily digested. My favorite aspect of this book? Todd does not shy away from the hard questions- he tackles them head-on, with unblinking honesty. Production work in a church is simply NOT EASY, and Todd has a "let's talk about it" way of writing that I love. Please do yourself and your ministry a favor- read it now, and work through the questions.

A Master Class for those of us who live and love Live Production
The profound wisdom that Todd shares in this long overdue book is a treasure to our tribe—our tribe that includes production managers, designers, engineers; and extends also to our partners performing artists, communicators, and pastoral leadership. For all of us, this book uses real life stories from experiences lived in the context of startup all the way to the mega of mega. From the insight shared through these personal case studies, we can all be challenged and encouraged to live our lives—whether professional or passion based; in production context and beyond to the rest of life—with greater vision and with reinforced values.

For Church Techies: the stuff they don't teach you in the operating manuals
I've found no other book that tackles the "soft" challenges of working in church production (communication, collaboration, leadership, trust) with such heart and wisdom. The concise chapters with discussion questions can easily be digested for self-improvement or with a team. Whether a beginning volunteer or an up-and-coming leader, this book gives invaluable tools for turning your entire production experience into one of health, excellence, and purpose.

Honest, clear and articulate
Great book for anyone involved in church production. The author has been able to put words to ideas and principles we would all know but may not be able to articulate but are extremely important.
