Mesmerizing!
I was uncertain of these after reading reviews. I took note of some improvements other buyers made, and attached the hangers better and sealed where they go in with silicone. I got these 6/2023 and they are still going strong 3/2025! I've left them out continuously all year in Upstate NY weather. We're talking downpours, wind, below zero and almost 100 degree temps...all of it! Occasionally one will fall off the branches in extreme wind storms (or klepto squirrel) situations. They are beautiful and go for hours every night. Even in cloudy weather, they come on for a bit. More sun = longer, obviously. They are magical in my fern garden in summer, and cast mesmerizing, colorful shadows on the snow in winter. I plan on buying more sets. The quality is very good.

Nice color!
They are super bright and look really good! I love how sturdy they feel! Definitely worth the price! Let's see how they hold up to a summer of bring used! UPDATE 05/31/25. I had a tree fall onto my garden during some bad storm and it was right on top of where these were hanging. 11 of them survived the tree, the 12th one only broken because it was right under a branch that buried it into the ground! These things are TOUGH!

Overall, Nice lamps for the price.
I had some concerns about quality after reading some of the reviews but quality control seems to have improved since then. All of them arrived safely and were pre-charged. I've had them up for almost a month now. They are sturdy and the parts stay together fine if you use care when you are assembling. These lights are really bright, which is nice because they can be used to light up and outdoor space for a gathering by themselves. However this also means the battery runs down quickly. The way I hung mine, the charging panel is blocked a bit since I wired them to lattice and as it stands they run down in about two hours. If they were hung better and got full sun all day that probably wouldn't be a problem. The lights are really beautiful. They rotate colors automatically and the crackle glass cover gives them a very magical appearance. I would recommend them for those who don't need them to be on all night or who can hang them in such a way that they get a lot of direct sunlight in order to charge. They are beautiful for the price but they may not be right for everyone's needs.

Very Beautiful
Got these last night. Hung them up all over the yard, can put them anywhere. just need more now. They leave a beautiful shadow on the ground. They change colors red green and blue-purple. They are glass kinda scared the mount wont hold. But time will tell. Love them so far

Very cool looking
These are gorgeous but difficult to place. You can’t put them on trees as small trees aren’t strong enough to hold them up and big trees might have to much shade for the to charge. I ended up putting them on a windmill and plant tresses as this leaves the solar panels free to charge. They are for decoration purposes only as they give enough light to make you smile but not enough to see anything. This is the first night we’ve had them out after carefully searching for where to hang them. We placed them this morning as to give them a chance to charge so far so good. 😊 the solar panel is so small that it’s really important to strategically place them to get as much sun during the day as possible.

Awesome lights! But the hanging hardware is DEFINITELY a problem.
As far as the performance, effect, look, colors, brilliance and wow factor of the lights and their glass globes are concerned, these things are a knockout. A grand slam. Ten out of ten. I won't repeat the specifics of these factors that other reviewers have thoroughly covered - you can read their reviews for some excellent descriptions of all of that. The problem is in the two metal parts these (heavy) lights rely on to function at all, as they must be hung in order to solar charge and stand up straight.Others have mentioned the inadequacy of the tiny alligator clips, being far too small to support an object of this weight (the glass is thick and heavy - which is otherwise a GOOD thing). And this is certainly true. Not only that, but the jaws of these clips don't open widely enough to grab onto a sturdy tree branch or anything else substantial enough to reliably hold these lights - you're forced to choose a tiny twig, which only increases the chances of a light coming loose and falling if the wind picks up, shaking the smallest branches around more violently than the thicker stuff. I will say that the clips have a very strong grip, but unfortunately it's not enough to overcome these issues. So really, these lights should come with hooks or carabiner-type hanging attachments instead. However, there's another problem, even if you choose to use something like this instead of the little clips: The hanging arms / brackets themselves aren't firmly attached to the lights. They barely go a few millimeters into their respective holes in the base of the light, and it's very easy to flex these brackets out of the holes. And unfortunately, they really can't go in any further, as it's the interior of the housing assembly that blocks them, and keeps the brackets just barely hanging on.I received my lights yesterday and hung them from trees and structures around my property. Last night, the wind picked up, and four of the lights plummeted to their shattered-glass death. Two were due to the clips falling to keep their grip, and the other two suffered from the brackets separating from the light bases.I'm a bit of a weather geek, and I have an anemometer that records wind speeds right here on site. The wind speed last night, which was enough to destroy a quarter of my new lights, never got higher than 10.5 knots, or around 12 mph.So in the end, I love these lights... and I can't stand that they are hobbled by such terrible hardware. They probably won't last a month no matter how I try to reinforce them, and that just makes their beauty a cruel tease.

Beautiful, colorful lights
These MAXvolador 12-Pack Hanging Solar Lights are beautiful and well made! The colors are bright and brilliant. The glass has an attractive crackled texture. They are waterproof and appear to be durable. I appreciate the post purchase note from the seller reminding me to turn them on before charging. IMO these are a good value. I'm very happy with this purchase. I'll be buying more.
