Tried less expensive brands but they didn't hold up. this cast aluminum is the perfect balance between strength and price.

I was looking for a white or cream colored floor vent for my bathroom and wanted one that would not rust. This cast aluminum vent was perfect. It also had the added benefit of a choice of various designs for the vent pattern. Arrived sooner than expected. Very easy, no tools, install.

Replacing plastic damper ones that melted. Impressed so far.

Looks pretty good, and a quick upgrade to standard vents. Using mine on the floor and it has held up so far without issue. The secondary vent flaps are plastic, but I do not adjust mine often so not a concern.

Contemporary but classic, and they're reassuringly heavy.

The grille is well made and pretty light. Can be easily mounted in a wall or even ceiling opening. Looks low profile yet stylish.On the flip side, the lever opening the damper blades is tight and not easy to operate. More importantly, the item arrived with some scratches on the inside. Clearly was previously returned. After some hesitation, decided that this is not worth the hassle of returning the item, but think that paying full price for a damaged product is unacceptable. Make sure you check for any damage, cosmetic or operational.

This vent cover looks so much nicer than the traditional ones. It has easily adjustable flaps to direct air flow and popped right into my existing vent openings. No tools need and looks great!
