Very misleading
This is neither make your own glow stick chemicals nor "glow in the dark". It's just uv reactive dye that you mix with water and shine a uv flashlight on. Not sure how anyone could construe that as "glow in the dark". Seriously false and misleading advertising.

Not impressed or worth the price
Not very impressed, the experiments were not well laid out and require multiple items from the household. The "glowing" material doesn't really glow much if at all. This was not much fun, the experiments we could do when we sat down were short, difficult to explain to my child, and the glowing portions just didn't really...Not good.

Great, fun activity for kids!
I purchased this kit as a gift for my granddaughters., (ages 5 and 8) they absolutely loved it. They had so much fun and were eager to show me the finished product. They loved how it glowed in the dark.

Didn’t glow
I might have done something wrong but it didn’t glow. I even bought a big black light because the dinky light that came with it didn’t work at all.

Doesn't Actually Glow
My kids (6 and 7) were excited at first, if they were 8 or older(as the kit suggests) I'm not sure they would have been as engaged with it. However, their excitement floundered when they went through all the work to make the "glow in the dark" chalk just to find that there was zero glow. The dinky little UV flashlight that came with the kit barely worked. But they did enjoy making the chalk shapes with plaster, they came out great and the whole process kept them busy and engaged for quite a while. We only got through "experiments" one and two but it does seem like the rest require more materials.
