ElliptiGO 11R Long Stride Outdoor Elliptical Bike and Best Hybrid Indoor Exercise Trainer (White)

Love the quality. Love the ride. It's so fun!! I'm not yet sure about steep uphills or downhills. I'm a beginner and not a runner. I love the no-impact. So happy there is no seat!!

love it! if you like to walk, you can now go faster, if you like o run, you can go faster and smoother, if you like to ride a bike, no more sore bottom, leaning on your wrists, or having youre abs hang down. the best of all those.

My wife bought an Elliptigo 8 and I started borrowing it. Sooner rather than later I wanted to get my own. The Elliptigo 11R has become my favorite bike to ride. Quite fun. The motion is very smooth. It's easy on my knees and back and I am getting an excellent workout. I was surprised to be able to climb any hill that I can climb on a regular bike. When commuting on the Elliptigo, I feel a little safer being in an upright position, getting a better view and being more visible than on a regular bike. The Elliptigo is heavier than a regular road bike but transporting it on a rack at the back of the car or inside has been no problem. The foldable steering arm helps to fit it inside a car. So far it’s been trouble free after over a year and 5500 miles. With the internal gear hub, maintenance seems much less than my other bikes. So I am very happy with the well-made fun Elliptigo and would give up any of my other bikes for it.Update 11/2017: I now have over 10000 miles on my ElliptiGO 11R. No issues. Just needed regular wear items like tires, one set of brake pads the slider rail set and replaced the shifter cable. I am still really happy with it. For me it has been the best bike / exercise equipment I have bought and is well worth the price.

I first bought an Elliptigo 8C at least 5 years ago and loved it. It helped me to get in great shape. I'm fused in my neck and my back and it strengthened my legs and core, taking pressure off of my back. Quick weight loss, slimmed down, built muscle. Then a few years later I bought the MSUB and I love it too. Completely different bikes, but both are great for the same reasons. Cardio exercise without feeling like it is hard. So much more pleasant to ride outside and the work out hour goes so quickly. I ride my 8c in the city on pavement and I ride my MSUB in the country on gravel and dirt roads, although you can ride it on pavement too. Love them both

I find it much more pleasing to use than a conventional bike -- the upright position and method of propulsion are each just somehow enjoyable to a degree sitting & pedaling aren't. The only drawback is that I find it less stable & maneuverable. Ideal for a trail; it may be my relative lack of experience/skill, but I don't think I'd feel safe using it in traffic or in a city. That said, I'm able to get off of it more quickly & easily than a regular bike, which isn't nothing.

As another reviewer wrote, I also had to share my 8 speed elliptigo with my wife so I finally broke down and got a slightly used 11R. I love it. The extra gears make a difference and the carbon fiber parts make it lighter and faster. But if you cannot afford it, any other model works well. It is great cross training for running and also a lot of fun! I use mine every day for my 18 mile round trip commute.Henry in Washington, DC

I own two Elliptigos, an 8C and 11R. My full GO review is on the 8C page. The 8C is great for most situations, including big hills and long rides. The top-of-the-line 11R provides a wider range of gearing but for me the most importantly different feature is thequick-fold-down steering column that makes transporting the GO easy in many kinds of cars.

I highly recommend the ElliptiGo bike, it is an excellent cross trainer for runners. I have only been running for five years and the ElliptiGo has made me much faster in a short amount of time. The elliptiGo is much easier on the body then running. The ElliptiGo is an awesome running machine and also the people at ElliptiGo are awesome as well as their customer service.
