Great gun for amateurs and sporatic use
This thing worked great for me, for the price and being a novice, it's a no brainer. I'm sure there are some great guns out there and if you're a pro, well, I'm sure you're not even looking at this gun anyway. But, it's a good gun and I think it cleans up easy and is easy to disassemble. I used it to paint a 22' shuffleboard table that I'm refurbishing. I used this gun to spray primer and then two top coats on the table and it turned out great! I used LATEX to paint the table and this gun clearly states "Not for use with latex paints". lol...liars! I just diluted the latex paint by 10% by mixing in water and it sprayed awesome! Get it! All I would say is that I was in my local Harbor F. store and they had this EXACT gun/package on sale for $15!!! Oh well, I'm still happy with it for what I paid here.

Great little spray gun.
For the price, this spray gun was great! Admittedly, I used this to spray paint an old wrought iron table and chair set. I brought my old spray gun, which had a pressure-feed pot with hoses to the gun-head. I put a small amount of thinner in the pot, hooked up the air hose, and thinner was spraying out all over my driveway! The old hoses were just shot, so I bought this gun, figuring if it worked only this once, that would be great.I cannot say how this would have done on a large flat surface. Would I be able to lay down a nice, even finish? But for spraying Rustoleum flat black on a table and chair set, it was great, and a huge time (and back) saver. My small compressor was rated below the CFM that the gun specified as a minimum, but I went ahead with it anyway. I guess because I applied the finish in short bursts anyway (chair legs, arms, edges, etc.) it kept up fine. For the price, you can't beat it.

Great sprayer for oil and latex paints. Buy it at Harbor Freight if possible.
This gun works really well and for the price, you should not have one complaint. This is worth the price and day. I used it to cut in a room that I was painting. This step usually is the longest and most tedious, not with a spray gun. I can cut in a room in literally 5 minutes. I thin latex paint with the appropriate amount of water and floetrol. This same gun is running 17 bucks at my Harbor Freight,

Doesn't come with disassembly wrench... and first thing they tell you to do is disassemble it.
I haven't yet used this. I read the manual (where I learned it purposely does not include a disassembly wrench... but says you must first disassemble and clean). Everything was very tight. I had to use channel locks to loosen the first part... which should have been finger tight. I had to fabricate a wrench to remove the next part (and wasn't successful... it couldn't be tighter if they used lock-tight). I looked for a wrench on Amazon. Found one for nearly twice the price of this gun... and that was the cheapest one. Noticed it was a Harbor Freight product so checked them for a wrench. Didn't find it but did discover it costs $14 there. You win some, you lose some. I was just trying to save on using spray cans for a small job.

Havent used.
It was inexpensive and is sitting at my moms house in the shed. Never used and probably wont because I move to a different state.

incomplete kit and discontinued parts
DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM! This spray gun came without a spray gun wrench, which is absolutely necessary for the spray gun to work. Without the proper wrench, you can not open the fluid tip to clean it prior to first use. The special wrench was not even mentioned in the owners manual. The spray gun also came without the cleaning kit, another major inconvenience. To add insult to injury, these missing items are impossible to purchase. I actually cut my finger after trying to open the fluid tip with a different tool!!! For a few dollars more, you can get a better gun that is sold complete with a cleaning kit and wrench. Do not waste your time and money!

Great sprayer for the money
I needed this to paint some cabinets I was installing in my kitchen. Not the full cabinets but a few places that I ended up having to cut and trim and then to touch up some areas that didn't come from the factory finished. For the money this is hard to beat. The paint went on well and I'm fully confident that any areas that aren't great looking were totally my fault. It is a pain to clean after each use, but I think that's probably the case with any paint sprayer. I'd get something nicer if I was a pro, but if you need to do a few spray jobs or just use it every now and again it's a great purchase.
