Works well, very sharp
These are sharp and are working well for hand shearing sheep with very thick wool. The hand movement is easy too. The 10 inch is a nice size for working more quickly. The 12 inch is a bit too large for my preference and doesn't open all the way up on its own. That said, it seems very sturdy.

Very nice
These are very nice sheer for the money. I had been buying a $45 pair and that company no longer offered them so I was forced to try something else these look cheap but they also had the type of Blade that I'm used to using and are easily sharpened on a stone. My two complaints is the hook that keeps the blade together when you aren't using it it does not lock up so it's constantly hooking into the wall you'd almost have to tape it shut while you're using them the other complaint is you're going to need grip tape because if your hands get sweaty or you get lanolin from the wall on it they get slick in your hands slide up the Clippers so grip tape on the handles is a must otherwise they stay very sharp I've been able to do several sheep and not had to sharpen them yet they do have the type of Blade that can be sharpened easily on a stone they're a good size and they don't have a very pointed in meaning you aren't going to accidentally clip your animal with the tips which is something that the other cheaper brand offered on Amazon does have and I did buy one of each to see which one I like better the very sharp tips yes they'll go into the wall and break and added wool but you also are more likely to clip your animal so I do prefer this set even though it doesn't shove into a matted place as well I'm good with that I'm I'm not tearing my animal up while I'm clipping and the blades aren't tremendously long so they're very manageable and tight areas are on matted places and armpits and things like that I would definitely buy these again they're my new go to. I do share approximately 100 had a year so these Clippers are very well used

Works as advertised
I have 3 sheep that are pets. I was going to shear them as I always do in spring but my electric shear went dull on me. Time passed quickly and it was now mid June and we had a heat wave. I was desperate to get these sheep sheared so they have some relief. I ended up getting these for the price and turns out they do cut wool very well.I will say however that the electric shears are just better overall it takes less time, less stress on the animal, and you get a more uniform end result. I will caution you though that the tip is extremely sharp I grazed myself accidentally on my knee.I will hold onto these as backup and incase the grid goes down and I can’t use the electric ones anymore.

Shears hair sheep
Traditional hand sheep shears did not work on hair-wool mixed fiber sheep, even though they were sharp. These shears work great. I finished removing the coat of my half shedded sheep easily. The scissors are decent quality; nothing fancy, but plenty adequate. The packaging was plain and simple. It came with an extra spring, bolt and nut, though I wouldn't expect the nut to come loose since it is a nylon lock nut. I didn't do a whole lot of shearing yet, but the handles seemed comfortable enough. They are sharp and pointy so I was careful to avoid injury.

Insanely sharp
As the title says, these are insanely sharp and well made. How do I know they're so sharp? Let's just say 5 stitches later and a very patient sheep taught us all a very valuable lesson. Also, no issues whatsoever cutting wool.... just be VERY careful with the skin because before you know it there may be a 3 inch laceration y'all will need to sew up....

Great for grooming, but gardening ?
Very sharp. Cut well. Light weight easy to handle.I use these for gardening. i do not like the finish on the blades. The edges on mine appear to be corroding? because I left a LITTLE dirt on them overnight. (It is difficult to get them wiped completely clean.)I bought this brand by accident. My normal brand has longer, wider blades with a much better finish -almost indestructable. They are heavier. However if you will be using these to cut fur that would not be a problem.(This brand is one on bottom of photo)

Perfect for Shearing...a Dog?
My chow is old and hates being groomed and brushed. Prior to this past year, I would take him to be shaved down under sedatives every spring, but the last time I had him groomed, they overdosed him on the tranquilizers. It took him three days to recover, and I swore never again. Unfortunately, as a chow, he is prone to matting and clumping. Did I mention he hates being groomed or brushed? I know those mats were making him miserable, but ordinary scissors weren't cutting it (see what I did there?). I went to Tractor Supply for sheep shears, but they were far bigger than I needed for this job. I ordered these shears and found them to be a perfect size to use on my chow. I have been tackling the lumps, clumps, and mats and these are fantastic. Sharp, easy to control, and he is perfectly comfortable during the process. HGe looks goofy because I am not a doggie groomer, but he is happy and clean now. Love these!
