Situ Lighting: Plug-in Vision Series Remote Controlled LED Art and Picture Light - USA Made - 3000K

I had been postponing adding a light to this painting for a couple of years. The abundance of choices and the wide range of pricing had me stymied but I finally concluded that Situ was the best choice.When the box arrived and I started the unpacking I knew immediately that I had made the right decision. The box was really a box within a box and the packaging was so perfectly engineered that I concluded that anyone that puts this much care into the packaging would probably have used the same level of exactness and quality in their product and that proved to be very true.The light is beautiful in finish and construction. The directions are simple and complete with one minor exception which I will detail later. The installation is very straight forward and a template is provided for placement of the bracket. The remote control is a huge help. It can turn the lights or off and has a dimmer with infinite degrees of brightness control. My light is 9 feet from the floor and an on/off switch on the light itself would be useless.The one suggestion on improved directions is that the on/off/dimming module is an inline device that is plugged into the power cord and resides behind the picture. The remote communicates with this module. There is a picture of this module in the directions but no mention of the need for installation. Also, I found the module in the packaging and not in the plastic bags with the other parts so don't discard the packaging until the light is mounted an a test run is completed meaning try the remote before you mount the picture to the wall. if it doesn't work you probably didn't see the module among the wrapping materials.The addition of the Situ Vision light has totally changed the way our room looks and was well worth the expense.

So happy with this quality lighting fixture that we bought a second one for a similar sized painting in another room. Looks great and easy functionality. Made in America is a big plus. Got a personal note from the owner thanking me for the repeat business which is appreciated. It may cost a tiny bit extra but worth it.

This is the second one I've bought, very good quality art lighting. The installation is very easy. My first one is over two years old with no issue.

I built a display of family photographs and memorabilia on my living room wall 6 months ago. Kind of like a collage of frames. They are tightly grouped together in a way that makes them more like one large piece of art than 30+ individual frames (to my eyes). Ever since completion I’ve been unhappy with the overhead room lighting for illumination of the piece. I’ve had the Situ fixture in my “saved for Later” Amazon list for months. I couldn’t understand why it was so much more expensive than every other fixture in the “art light” category. Every once in a while I would click on it, look at the price, read the description again, and move on. I even purchased one of the more economical brands. I wasn’t pleased. So, a few weeks ago I bit the bullet and bought the Situ. Based on the product information my art piece required the 56” version in a standard width to height format. I’m no art gallery owner but I know enough about lighting and color rendition to realize the standard 2700k color should make my family photos (skin tones) look their best. It arrived last week. Simple instructions. Easy installation. The remote has multiple levels of brightness allowing me to choose just the right light level depending on the ambient light in the room. I clicked the ON button. And now I know why the Situ costs so much more. I am absolutely stunned. Edge to edge, top to bottom, the illumination is even and well defined. The color rendition is spot-on. The individual pieces come alive! Guests who in the past barely noticed it on the wall are newly attracted to it. It is now truly a conversation starter and a family attraction. All this from an understated, super thin LED housing that almost disappears above the art. I could not ask for anything more.Bravo, Situ!

Love this painting light! It’s minimal in design and really makes the colors in my artwork pop! I spent a lot of money on my artwork and it just needed a light to bring it to life. The remote works well and it’s very easy to install!

Just received this light. I had a hard time finding a light that would adequately light my giant 59" x 40" canvas map of the U S. Then I found Situ. Let me tell you, this light is classy looking and it looks outstanding on my canvas. I provided a picture. Keep in mind, this is in the daytime. If it's lit up this good, it will be great at night. I might update this review w a night shot.This map is a map of the U.S., showing all the disc golf courses I've played. There's about 390. And this light brings these pins out so you can really see them.The light is a good representation of the natural colors of the map. It more than adequately covers the size of the map. It makes the details pop.Now, this light is expensive. But if you have an art piece that is this large, then I know you love it; therefore, spend the money and you will be happy.It was easy to install. 2 brackets w 4 screws and then mount the light on the brackets. I did run into a slight issue attaching the light to the bracket as it was hard to make the light level, but I tinkered w it until I got it perfect.Last thing to say about this light. There's a remote. A lot of functions on there. A timer, brightness settings, obvy an on off switch. And the cord is largely invisible. Once this thing lights up, you won't even notice the cord bc your brain will be involved in looking at the art. Capiche?Buy this light. Fahgettaboutit.

Excellent Light , Excellent features !!Very useful Remote control ,I intend on installing one of theses on all my large pieces of Art . They are not cheap , but they perform very Well .
