Nice instruction booklet with the Sashio stencils! Van hardly wait to start learning the Japanese craft of Sashiko!

Stencils are too small for even a small marking pen/pencil. Unfortunately these are unusable. Stitches are also extremely close together, I would have had to skip a stitch each time if I were able to get a pen to work marking them. I considered buying washable paint since the pen wouldn't work with these, but I think the tiny amount of bleeding that would occur on cotton would blend the lines together because they were too close together. Loved the designs, material, etc. otherwise.

They seemed like good quality stencils. The designs were nice. But I thought they were too small, the lines drawn for sashiko, to be helpful to me. I was disappointed.
