The Assassin Snail has become a popular attraction for those who are heavily invested in a planted tank. Spending anything from $5 to $20 for a single plant inside a small three gallon tank all the way up to $1,000 for larger aquariums quipped with the automated Co2 system. Most swords can grow to 15" within a couple of months while some other plants like baby dwarf tears aren't really a quick growing plant reaching such height but instead it is a carpeting plant that will take months or even years to cover the aquarium floor. Protect your time and investment with a group of assassin snails and put a stop or even prevent an outbreak of pest snails.

Murder snails do the job of murder, so you don't have too.
So there I was... After ignoring the repeated warnings of possible terror connections and/or weapons of mass destruction, then watching helplessly the slow, methodical invasion of a clone soldier army (latest intel has their numbers at >1000) the Malay Trumpet insurgency finally took down the water filtration plant. Their zealous engineering troops, after failing in initial attempts to block the main filtration inlet valves, changed tactics and sacrificed the lives of their younger comrades to block all mechanical parts in the pump house, causing extreme hardship and several dollars in repair costs. Thank heavens there were no serious injuries or death, but the mental trauma experienced by the citizens is unbearable. This blatant act of terrorism on the happy, care free citizens of Guppyland and their lush, tropical paradise could no longer be ignored. We had to act and act fast. I knew what I had to do, I needed "Them"...Yea yeah, I know, I let it get out of hand. Problem was I had already have a solid group of veteran Assassins (Tiger Team 6) in a larger tank and rapidly extracting them to deploy somewhere else just isn't fair to their families you know? Plus they are still in execution of their "mop-up" phase of their latest successful mission "Operation Striped Meteor II" and I don't want any hidden enemy to resurface, hell bent on destruction. So, I had to formulate a plan, a plan that would be both keep costs low and operate in the shadows (try explaining a war on invertebrates to the first lady and the children, there are just some things the public doesn't need to know, amiright?). But I knew what I had to do, I needed another crack squad of Assassins. After hiring through their "Agent" they arrived very promptly in a mil-spec, state of the art, insulated, government container (USPS). All members of "Tiger Force" arrived in full healthy fighting strength (~14) and prepared for MAYHEM! After a brief environmental conditioning and a few mandatory briefings and "classes", Tiger Force safely deployed deep behind the enemy AO via HALO. After an initial regroup and recon, they went right to work on the massive enemy invasion.Yesterday, I watched in EXTREMELY slow-mo the 20 minute chase and take down of one of the larger HVT's (High Value Target). A brave member of Tiger Force, carefully yet methodically started to move the 1 inch to its intended target. After an extremely wild, action packed 10 minutes at which at one point the HVT started to make a break for it by moving a little to the left, our hero, with the precision you come to expect from elite Tier 1 Operators, change direction and intercepted her hapless target. Our heroine then quickly (~7min) enveloped, tackled and "removed" the HVT from Guppyland, permanently. This is why you call on "them"...I believe Tiger Force, in an unusual semi-public demonstration of their military tactical superiority, decided on a "Show of Force" as a validation of their tenacity and courage. They have a long and extremely arduous mission ahead of them, but I know, after watching the live daylight assassination of one of the Trumpet Insurgencies oldest and most senior leaders, that I found the right folks for the job.

I checked my water perimeters and everything is great with my tank
Received my snails while there was a blizzard going on in Wisconsin, my snails were not insulated just a plastic covered cup and some bubblewrap. The container was cold to the touch and I was worried but read the instructions on the pack and watched and waited. Only one snail is moving around, the others are either dead or curled up about to die. I checked my water perimeters and everything is great with my tank. The "java moss" was just seeds wrapped in damp paper towel which also seems to have frozen. Will not purchase again.

Snails are exactly as described!
Snails were delivered in sensitive packaging and all survived! They took care of the snail infestation in my tank within a matter of days. Word to the wise- these snails also reproduce so you may need fewer than you think :)
