I have a daybed but opted for the Full/Queen coverlet set (not the daybed set), in case I upgrade to a queen or switch to a standard bed frame. The coverlet is thin yet has more weight than fleece. There's a machine stitch throughout - not heat embossed - holding the thin inner layer of batting between the front and back fabrics. I didn't wash the coverlet and found it's very easy to remove my cat's fur. The color palette is exactly what I wanted. All was perfect until the sham...[cue ominous music].I could detail the failures of flat-felled stitching, especially with insufficient seam allowances and raw edges that are neither stitched, nor pinked, nor fused. I could demonstrate how well a pillow slides against smooth fabric vs. the unfinished batting inside of the shams, and the futility—despite meticulous care—to coax a standard pillow into the sham, inch by inch against the rough batting while poor stitching quality isn't able to withstand tensile force until...rip! Fortunately, the torn seam doesn't show on the front. Overall, the coverlet addressed all my aesthetic goals. The palette and design are pleasing. I can now easily 'make the bed', hiding mis-matched blankets and under-the-bed storage. If the seam hadn't ripped, I'd give this at least one more star each for 'value for money' and 'overall rating'.

Our guest room is the warmest room in the house and this beautiful, lightweight coverlet is the perfect fit. Plenty large for Cal king.

Using it on my husband's hospital and the twin size is very generous.
