I am a 51-year-old woman attempting to go to college. Math has changed so much in 30+ years and I have forgotten most of the math I learned back in high school. The math used today is so different from how I learned it. I love how this book breaks down the lessons and helps you with the whole test taking process. I am feeling much more confident about taking the placement test.

This book definitely provides the information. But there was so much information, It was overwhelming. I ended up chunking the book and YouTubing videos. I studied practice tests and I went through the steps of re-learning algebra I, algebra II, a bit of geometry and statistics. I managed to pass. The book definitely provides information on these subjects but a lot of the information from the book was not on the test. Again, YouTube has all the information you need to pass. Obviously, everyone’s learning style is different but It didn’t work for me. I’d gladly give my book away if you could find a way to reach me.

Being out of school. I tried a practice math test it was like another language. I purchased this book to help me refresh my math and get up to date for the stuff I have lost.

The book was good review for me to take my math placement test. There are 3 practice tests that provide decent solutions to each problem. I wish that they had more examples to try on your own throughout. I learned better through my schools online test and the modules through McGraw Hill and would rather do that if given the chance to do it again

I bought this to refresh my brain for the math placement test. It's been 10 years since I've been in high school and I'm starting college soon so I wanted to be prepared... somewhat. Lol.

This book really helped break things down and helped me prepared for my test of which I passed surpassing what I needed to pass.
