Great small reel. It is perfect for my 12ft rod not to heavy or bulky.

Was reading an article that had this particular reel listed and was recognized as a top reel for the price point by KVD. i have to say for having paid sub 30 this is the nicest smoothest reel i have in my tackle box, most seem to have a slight skip or something while reeling that just makes them slightly annoying to use. this is by far one of my new favorite reels for crappie and panfishing. the color also is pretty cool so it stands out. otherwise has your typical drag and reel features. not much else to really say.

Had my eye on this for a little while every time I walked through my local farm store. It popped up on my Amazon feed on a flash sale for $15 less than retail so I hopped on it. Bought it mainly for an ultralight when fishing for trout, but I’d say it would be just as good for its advertised purpose as a panfish reel, too. Good drag, solid build. No complaints. Always a good product when Lews’ name is on it.

We purchased this for us to use on our sons new fishing pole and it’s great it’s not overly heavy and it’s easy to set up and use my husband actually liked it so much he ended up playing with it the only thing I would warn about is this is different than the typical reel this isn’t a push button style it’s one you must manually do which isn’t an issue for us but teaching our young son to do this has been a bit of an issue but it’s not anything against the product the reel itself is great we absolutely love it just keep in mind if your buying for a child take the time to teach them to use it properly bc it’s much different than the Spider-Man style you buy at a local box store overall I would recommend and would buy again this thing is great we can’t wait for it to warm up a little so we can go catch real fish instead of playing with it outside with a weight !!
