Clear friendly introduction to EFT
When I first found EFT, I ordered several books and sets of DVD's on the subject. While watching a DVD has obvious advantages over reading a book, I have to say that I found this book almost more helpful than the DVD's and it is definitely the most useful of all the books I bought. It's very readable. There is a great variety of styles presented...from a charming fellow who once studied to be a clown to more serious academics with lots of initials after their names. One of the nice things about EFT is that it is so adaptable to different personalities and uses. Some people have a definite spiritual bent, for example. Others have different perspectives. Here you get to see how 20 people use it in a vast number of different ways, which gives you the freedom to find your own way of using it.Each presenter writes a short chapter focusing on a particular subject, eg. pain management, sports performance, weight loss, procrastination, etc. There is something here for everyone. Each expert gives examples of how EFT has been used successfully for that problem and offers abundant suggestions for EFT set-up phrases. It's possible for a beginner to pick up the book and start using EFT almost immediately. And yet it has enough solid information to be used as a reference for an experienced EFT professional for a long time. I've referred to it over and over and have given it to clients. There's a nice, friendly tone to the book, too, which I appreciate. It doesn't try to impress you with a lot of difficult methodology. It doesn't leave you overwhelmed with information that you feel you'll never assimilate. It doesn't make you feel that you have to spend large sums of money to study further with the writers or consult with them personally, although some of them do offer these options.

all your answers
I had borrowed this book from the library..and when i found myself, putting in endless sticky notes..I decided I'd better buy it!! EFT sounds soo simple, and it is...but with many illnesses etc..not all one size fits all...this book..helps you find the right words and phrases that help with using EFT..and it explains how to use them..most questions you might have using EFT are answered in this book..and the questions and answers are also found in the different health problem sections..so ur not faced with endless pages of Q&A for things that arent wrong with you...its set out cleanly and very easy to read...I have many books on EFT..and find this the best soo far...Amazon is also the only place you can still buy it...so if ur interested...either buy it now..or see if you can borrow it from your local library to try..then buy it!!This book has short biographys on the many various authors who have authored the section theyre most experinced at, so you get to know..where theyre coming from and it also includes their own web sites etc..The contents section is soo well thought out..its easy to go to the page you want to..the picture of the tapping points is clear, and there is an easy to read Glossory at the end of the book. It's a book..that couldnt be improved upon...Try EFT and who knows how much better you will feel..and you probably didnt realise..that 'back ache' was caused by built up stress etc..and it just goes....

Digging IN...
EFT, is a simple technique, Yet understanding the correct questions or even any question to ask can be the challenge. This wonderful book DIGS INTO the meat of the issues and opens one's mind to just what questions lurk behind those issues. I'm an Advanced EFT practitioner and believe me there are many times that I have a need to review this book. Chapter one, by Ron Ball, is excellent for the beginner, who is sure to be confused and have these questions that Ron addresses. I especially appreciate that there are a range of co-authors proficient in different subjects, there all at one's fingertips.... a lifetime of therapy experience waiting to be plucked and used for the highest good. The exciting aspect is this is just the beginning, a jumping off point for your own growth.

Another alternative healing method.
I am somewhat familiar with the subject of this book and I bought it to expand my knowledge of the subject. It is called 'tapping' and the times I have used it, has been beneficial in relaxing my discomfort and giving me an overall feeling of being at ease. I am all in favor of using alternative methods of healing, and that is the main reason for this purchase.

Well worth owning
As a practicing psychiatrist teaching and using EFT for the past 9 years, this book is well worth being included in one's library of Energy Pscyhology books, with a practical use for all persons, practitioners and clients. All the 20 contributors are seasoned practitioners of EFT. I have personally observed several of the contributors as topnotch presenters.

Don't waste your time and money
I went into this with high hopes. I've been struggling with grief and chronic depression for far too long, so I truly hoped to find some relief using this technique. I read the book, watched several videos and practiced EFT for several hours a day every day for a week. I actually felt much worse than I did before I tried it! It's really just more "magical thinking" in the same vein as "the Secret". One chapter even claims that happiness is a "choice" and a "birthright" that we merely have to allow ourselves to choose. This kind of blame the patient BS will surely piss off anyone who has fought chronic depression for years. This book just proves the old saying "if it sounds to good to be true IT IS"!

A smorgasbord of EFT tools
This book is full of questions and approaches to resolving issues with EFT. I've been doing EFT for awhile and am always looking for new approaches and ideas. Because this book has a clear topic for each expert and features some of the best people in the industry, this book stands out above some other very good books which detail techniques but leave out the application ideas.Well worth adding to your EFT library!

This truly is a gift
This is a book that is easy to read. The directions set out regarding tapping are simple and in a short time quite effective on the areas you want to work on. I have my grand-kids tapping and they not only feel it is fun but say it makes them feel good. Could it be they are getting in tune to their emotions? I certainly hope so. This book will be on my list of gifts to give away.
