Its attractive and keeps accurate time. I use it as a desk clock. Its under my monitor screen. The black and silver colors match the monitor. The clock is easy to read, especially compared to the digital time on the monitor screen bar.The clock has a simple, retro look. It makes me smile because it reminds me of the analog clock on my Datsun 240Z many years ago.The clock is all good as a desk clock.I wouldn't use it as a night stand alarm clock. As others have said, its not readable at night. I think there's a slightly more expensive version with a continuous backlight, but I'm not familiar with it. This one has a button to temporarily illuminate at night, which seems a pain.Others have said its plastic and not worth the price. Doesn't bother me. It looks more expensive than it is.

The product listing has a size so its my own fault for thinking this was bigger, so not really a con. I do wish I could get this exact same clock about 2-3" larger. The design is fantastic. The entire outer case and front glass is all plastic but feel nice, it doesn't creak when handling the clock. The timekeeping is solid, plenty accurate. The printed face is awesome, I love the straightforward design of this, and I like the color of the second hand. The clock has a small light in the lower right that lights up when you push down on the whole clock (button is actually on the bottom, you push down and the table triggers the button). In pitch black the light is enough to read the clock, but its pretty dim. The good thing is that because of the good contrast of the hands against the face you can read this clock easily in very dark settings. I can't speak to the alarm because I haven't tried it, I just bought it as a desk clock.

So disappointing, I’ve owned these clocks in the past and they worked great, just the right size and easy to read. I bought 2 of these and neither keeps the correct time - they both run very slow and within a day are off by 10-15 minutes. I changed batteries multiple times to no avail. They do not work!! Beware!!

This is my first analog alarm clock. Overall I'm happy with it, and am looking forward to using it for the foreseeable future. That being said, there are a few things about it that I don't love.Pros:- Very attractive- Simple to set- ReadableCons:- Smaller than I expected- Alarm setting arm only rotates counter-clockwise, so it's annoying to re-set it to a later time- Fine-tuning alarm is difficult because you align it with the hour hand; so you need to be ok with your alarm being set +/- a few minutes of exactly what you wantOverall for the simplicity of the design and the advantage of not using my cell phone, I am happy to have this on my bedside table and will keep using it.

After multiple purchases of <$10.00 alarms that broke in less than a month, I decided to go for a known brand despite a slightly steeper price. So very glad I did. This little clock works perfectly and has the added value of looking really, really good. How it works is simple and super obvious. And it works well. The light is just bright enough and turns off automatically after a few seconds, long enough to focus sleepy eyes. The face is easily readable. The ascending alarm tone starts softly enough to wake me gently but fully. I could kick myself for wasting money on cheaper alarms.

Very annoying that I have to reset the time every night when turning on the alarm. I have to move it forward 5 min every night. It’s a good looking little clock, but it literally has one job

Looks beautiful and is very quiet for a clock. A bit squishier and creakier than I would've liked. This is, after all, a modern Chinese clone and not the original German design, especially on the inside. Tolerances are also not all that great. To the point that the alarm button in the off position doesn't depress the off button fully. There is just no good way to turn the alarm off when that happens. Snooze "pedal" on the bottom still works, but that alarm is very very loud and very persistent.Thankfully it's very easy to get the thing apart (just 4 screws, no latches or glue) and I was able to adjust the components slightly and put a couple layers of tape to make the button gap a tiny bit smaller, so I'm able to shut the alarm off now, but not sure how long that fix would last.I had the original Braun clock back in the early 90-s and that thing was built like a tank and worked flawlessly for may years. I'm glad I can still buy a clock that looks as gorgeous as it does, but quite disappointed in build quality.

I got White, Model BC12W. I didn't want to hear any ticking sound, and thankfully this clock is silent. Love it.I like that this is small so it doesn't take up too much room on my desk either. I don't use it as an alarm clock but the alarm sound was loud. It's light and small so I could take it with me for the long vacation too.Also it's Braun - not a random brand, so felt safe to have it near me all the time. Some unknown brand have made products with cancerous materials in the past, so now I'm only buying one with known brands, even though some retro looking clocks with random brands were super cute in amazon.
