Helps to extend senior Pet activity level
I highly recommend this as a good supplement. I have had all my dogs on this supplement (or similar) for more than 16 years and I find that it does help each dog's activity level in the senior years. My dogs think it is a treat, and I now add it to their regular food at meal time.

Chelsea, Molli, & Butters are all happy & pretty pain free.....and happier & the better for it!
This has really helped my dogs with their joint pain & arthritis pain. I even got a bottle for my aunt's Chihuahua mix who was limping on his right hind leg....after 3 weeks, we already saw significant improvement in her dog's gait.I have used these tablets for over a year now for both of my dogs. My Bichon "Molli" was on carprofen for a year for her early onset arthritis. (Molli had been hit by a car just prior to being turned into the Lancaster shelter from where we later adopted her) So when Molli's liver values became alarmingly high, we had to brake her off of all NSAIDS...meaning the carprofen but then needed an alternative to help manage the pain of her early onset arthritis. I had heard that Boswellia & S.O.D. were helpful in this regard, so Molli started taking NaturVet S.O.D. & Boswellia & slowly but surely it has mitigated her pain. She no longer limps & remains physically active. When Chelsea started experiencing joint pain in her knees.....we also put her on this and had the same results. So it was a no brainer to offer this to my Aunt for her dog "Butters" who has problems with his right knee. His pain was at the point where it would prevent him from playing with other dogs or playing fetch with my Aunt. He would limp & just want to lay down & only observe other dogs playing. This was not his usual behavior. He would get pain shots from the the vet but it would only help temporarily & it was becoming cost prohibitive. And Butters hated going to the vet to get his shots. So been he started this....it didn't take long to see that it was helping. Now 4 months later, he rarely exhibits the type of pain tbat previously had him sitting on the sidelines watching other dogs play & have fun. Now he is the one initiating play. However, if he over does it, he will be sore for a day. But nothing close to his pain level before. So we are all happy for that. And Chelsea, Molli, & Butters are all happy & pretty pain free.....and happier & the better for it!

Not Able to Get My Dog to Take These Without Pill Pockets
***Updated: My Labradoodle seems to be even better than ever after 9 full days of taking this supplement on top of her Costco supplement. She's able to get up without help. Yay! She can also walk further on our nightly outings. I added another star because the product is working but she still won't take it without a pill pocket.About two months ago, my Labradoodle began having trouble getting up. It was sudden. One day she could get up from lying down without any issues, and the next day, it was like she had aged years. My husband thought she had slept wrong but it turned out that this is the new normal. While I was out of town, my husband and daughter bought supplements from Costco that appear to be high quality and I was semi-impressed until I started doing a bit of research into what things would improve joint health for a dog.The science shows that Boswellia serrata in conjunction with glucosamine and chondroitin is the most effective supplement but the amount of Boswellia needed to make a difference in a pet's life is hard to find. Most supplements don't have an adequate amount of Boswellia to make a difference. I searched high and low for supplements that contain everything but it seems like nothing exists.I found NaturVet and thought that I would continue to give my dog the Costco supplements and throw in these as well. I wondered how the company would handle the intense smell of Boswellia serrata but figured I'd try them out and see.We are only on day two so I need to give these a lot longer and I will update everyone on the progress that Pearl makes but one thing to note is that she won't take them by themselves. I've had to purchase Pill Pockets which are pricey. I don't know if they sell them at Costco, too, but will be checking that out. I love my elderly dog with all my heart so I will make whatever purchase to make her more comfortable.Bravo for NaturVet for creating these but I wish they tasted better for my dog's sake!

Supports dog health
I started using Boswellia for myself, and it helps me quite a bit. Have arthritis of the spine/joints. Purchased it for my senior dogs and it works well for them, too. Great product. Helps with pain relief and movement.

Helped my 6YO English Bulldog with Osteoarthritis
My girl was diagnosed with osteoarthritis just before turning 6 after she started limping and developed a knuckle-cracking noise in her hip whenever she walked. Vet prescribed her Carpofen initially, and within 3 days she developed explosive diarrhea. Vet switched her to Galliprant, but she experienced the same side effect. I did some research on homeopathic treatments for her condition, and found that Boswellia & Curcumim can help. She was already on Glucosamine MSM. Vet also recommended fish oil. So now I give her a daily supplement cocktail of Boswellia, Curcumim chew, fish oil, & glucosamine MSM. The cracking noise went away, she is not limping anymore, and can even play. When I ran out of this specific supplement, I noticed she is VERY reluctant to go on walks. I think it does have some impact on her pain. It is inexpensive, so doesn't hurt to give it a try
