1/8'' Double End Drill Bit (Pack of 12)

These are awesome!!! A friend of mine had one and I just had to buy some. They drill through steel like it’s nothing. I carry one in my pocket if that tells you anything!!

Although the bits are an 1/8" wide, the length of each bit is only 1.75” long. I don't know about you, but these short bits will be a challenge in my cordless drill.I returned them to Amazon within 3 minutes of seeing their size (which is 2:59 too long). It's a shame as I needed them for a project I am working on.

I'd snapped a bunch of thicker "titanium" bits that would barely drill a hole in mild steel, got these and am still on the first side of the first bit after drilling about 100 holes in 3mm thick hot rolled steel plate. I would buy these again but I think they're going to last quite a while.

Useful, but very short. Be aware they are not even the length of a regular bit you can buy at Home Depot or Amazon. By the time you chuck them up, expect a drill depth of no more than 1 1/2 inches max.

We had to drill several hundred holes in 3 mm steel plate. These worked great. Being double-ended, we didn't have to go very far when one end wore out. We got about 60 holes per end before they got rather dull.

I am rivetting a car body together and these drill bits proven to be very tough.

These are pretty good but will walk off in a second. Even a light center punch is not enough.

I drilled hundreds of identical holes. Each of these bits drilled far more holes than the most expensive bits at the hardware store. I was averaging just 5 holes per bit (sometimes 0) per bit before buying these!
