First: Everything is well packaged. HOWEVER, the decorative band comes in a bag, not on the drum. I like the drum without the decorative band - it is just a dust collector. The mallet heads are not attached to the sticks so you have to do some assembling - small pieces & 75-year-old hands not a good mix. The plug for the bottom does not fit - does not stay in place. It has no tension and is not very pliable. I often put rubber balls/bells inside my drums to change the sound. Can't do that with a faulty plug--everything falls out. The drum is beautiful. It sits on a table beside my desk. I play it often. The sound is like a bell - all tongues tuned perfectly, key of C. This drum does not cause feedback through my hearing aids. It does not hurt my ears - the tone is perfect. It comes with a zippered case for storage or transport and a beginner music pamphlet. I have more expensive and less expensive drums - the sound makes the Aklot my favorite. Definitely worth the price.

Great little 12 inch drum for the price. Good sound. Great for beginners or anyone else who would like to have a good quality drum at a fair price.

Absolutely love this steel tongue drum. I’m no musician, but every tongue key sounds perfectly in tune and make a beautiful sound. It arrived an hour ago & I can’t keep smiling & enjoying drumming it. I say it is a WINNER. I highly recommend to anyone who loves the mellow sweet sound of a steel drum. It’s not twangy & the mellow sound radiates through my body. I’m so relaxed from playing it. What a real joy. Thank you AKLOT

My daughter has special needs (autism, cognitive disability). She is largely uninterested in gifts and tends to enjoy the bow more than opening the actual gift. This was a gift she actually engaged with! She enjoyed playing it with my help. I will mention that I do have to keep a close eye out that she does not put the stick in her mouth to chew the rubber ball. It comes off and is a serious choke hazard. So note that for young kids. This drum sounds great and is easy to play for someone non musical. I will say that a few tabs sound more "dead" than the others which really resonate a beautiful tone. If you are a musician this would be important to note. If you just want to make nice calming tones....this thing is great!

The item is awesome, It's easy to play and the sounds are soothing we all loved it and like to play it. I recommend it for stress free soothing music for the System,Nerves and Mind. Its very easy to play and the tones well let them speak for themselves

Amazing gift for my grandchildren - calming and soothing sounds generated even though they are not skilled musicians. They opted to play the drum instead of being on their electronics! Winner!!! Best gift ever!!!

It is fine. I got this because I wanted something for my 2 and 8 year old grandkids to play with. They have had fun with it. And it's sturdy so it will last for as long as I need it. It has enough musical notes available to play many songs. And it includes a songbook!
