well we just got this so its hard to say how it will hold up. But for now its a very pretty Necklace..so i will say its thin and light but over all its a nice peice.. i will get back to you at a leter date to inform you about hows it doing. So far it Good..

This rope diamond cut catches the light and almost steals the show from the pendent (purchased separately) it supports.

I like the look of the chain but it has one flaw and that is it is very thin but I guess you get what you pay for, if I wanted a thicker chain I would've had to pay much more for it. I've had a gold chain for years but I lost it and now with this new one within a week of when I got the chain somehow it broke one of the links so I had to repair it which cost me $35 because the chain was so thin it could not be welded in the normal manner. like I said I do like the chain I am just going to have to be more careful I guess. I do have to say one thing about the company. I originally ordered a 20 inch and found that it was too short I sent it back got a refund reordered a 22 inch and they were really good about giving me a quick refund.

I also do not own a set of calibers. But the way this looks and feels and my primitive attempts at measuring its thickness with a wooden ruler do not make me think it is 2mm in thickness. It is strong enough for medium weight charms and the person i gave it to loves it and the frillier rope pattern that is obviously feminine. I would go for a thicker rope for myself with a less frilly pattern (which to me looks like it is cheating you out of some gold material) but...for what it is and what I searched pricewise for the karat, thickness and length it does the job admirably well. Budget jewelry indeed.

This chain was beautiful and sparkly. I loved the look and only returned it because the chain connector didn’t fit through the bezel of the pendant I needed it for. Great price and customer service. Quick delivery too!

Good chain very clean and shiny look. On the thinner side but it’s definitely not too thin. Lasted for 2 years without any snags but then it quickly stared snagging and snapped but it was quick fix. I recommend it as a first chain or a chain for younger people.

I wasn't sure if be happy with the thickness of the chain based on other reviews. I'm a petite female, and this is perfect!!!! Exactly what I wanted. It's beautiful, great craftsmanship, and holds an inch pendant perfectly. I've slept in it (with the pendant) without a problem. It has pulled on my hairs, not painfully, just a couple times, but that's to be expected. I waited to write this review after wearing it at least a dozen times. I'm very happy with this purchase!

Perfect chain alone or with a pendant. It so sparkly and shiny, looks like it cost a lot more! Not too thin and not too thick or gaudy.The width can be seen from across the room and it's a nice rich gold, looks similar to my 18kt gold chains in color. It doesn't catch on my hair or clothing. I will buy more from this company
