This is a great learning remote.I didn't see instructions or didn't look but found a vid showing how to activate the learning: hold down one of the top blue buttons TV Sat or DVD until the red light gets bright, then it is in learning mode.Next: press the button you want to program on the learning remote, it will start blinking, then press the button you want it to learn from ANY OTHER infrared source, it will blink rapidly briefly indicating that button has learned it. You can stay in learning mode and continue to program other buttons, or to exit learning mode press the top (blue) button you chose again and it will be in normal mode.I have some IR remotes for some RGB light bulbs and now this remote can learn all those functions and have room for more.Excellent for it's intended use: being able to learn IR buttons using existing remotes.Better than other products like broadlink ir blasters because I don't need an app it's just buttons.10/10!

Programming a tad tedious. Have bought two. First one 'mute' button quit so just programmed mute to another button that was not in use. Durable- dropped many time and still works.

It did the job for me and it is fair easy to teach the remote. I use it to control some remote blinds. My old remote was damaged by staled batteries, the chemical leak damage. So, after I fix it, I thought I better get a backup, otherwise I will need to change the blinds to manual mode. This is just a simple Universal IR remote, no programming, no button renaming. Oh well, it did what I wanted.

The instructions for programing the remote are actually accurate. I've seen a lot of alternative instructions on how to program it but the intended way is by far the best way. This remote is electronically completely adequate, but it has kind of a clumsy feel to it and the button selection is not very modern. All in all, it is fantastic for the price and works well overall.

Great learning remote, works very well despite being kind of cheaply made, but not a surprise for under ten bucks. The only real draw back is the instructions, they are horribly written and almost useless, if you’re not good at figuring things out for yourself then pass on this one. For myself though, I’m very happy with it, once I got past setting it up.

No wifi support. Difficult programming. Doesn't support some common buttons.

Not a bad remote , but I have never liked rubber button remotes , especially the ones where the rubber rubs on the plastic remote frame . However given the cost , not a bad utility remote.I have programed many different remotes into it and they have all worked !! , however sometimes I find I must repeat the task before it will actually work !!For the price and need it is fine , any cost greater than what I paid would be too much .It does take as many as 4 or 5 tries before it will learn and sometimes the buttons on both original remote and this remote need to be held down for a couple of seconds , slow learning remote !!Aside from that , not a bad remote , super handy when I need to use just one and not three .I rate this a ‘ Buy ‘ because of the price , and it does work !Dreamer

I had to learn keys from multiple remotes for one device. This remote learned it all in an instant, works great.
