I always broke spoons for good ice cream but this scooper is amazing. Turn hard ice cream into soft and effortlessly easy to scope and sometime I don’t even bother with the spoon. Just enjoy the ice cream with this scooper So worth it.

Product actually looks better after I've used it a few times than it did when I got it. Really scoops nice balls of ice cream up, cutting through the ice cream easily. I didn't rate the durability, as I've only had it for a month or less, but when I got it, the product did seem like it would corrode easily or the top would fall off the bottom of the scoop easily. I use it, wash it by hand, dry it by hand, THEN enjoy my ice cream after putting it in it's own drawer without anything else metal touching it. Edit: Been a couple months now, and the product continues to look better & better. Hand washed & bamboo towel dried each use within minutes of using. No issues with the durability, imo.

This looks like a one piece aluminum casting which is what we were looking for in that it looks just like the ones they use in Braums in our area. Actually, we haven't used it yet but expect it to work as perfect as we think. We are not influenced by the liquid in the handle and as a matter of fact we think being a one piece construction is enough for it to sell itself.

This is one of the best ice cream scoops I have ever used. No more needing to place under hot water to scoop hard ice cream. I shake it a few times and it warms up enough to dip ice cream smoothly. I will give a warning do not stick in dish washer. I did this and it still works but it tarnished and the metal tarnish would come off during scooping ice cream i had to scrub it with a sponge to make it clean again and now it works perfect.

I gave this to a friend as bday gift she said she likes it, she eats ice cream m every evening,she’s happy with it
