Iwatani Cassette grill Slim II (tatsujin slim II) CB-TAS-1

Portable and easy to clean! I was pleasantly surprised at the weight and slim profile of the Iwatani Burner. The slim design is easy to clean and the slim profile makes it easier for table top cooking for guests to access the hotpot. I was also pleased that the burner could also hold my 3.5 quart Le Creuset braiser without issues for balance issues or hotspots. So happy with this purchase!

I have had no issue even being all in Japanese. I was able to figure it out. Works well and easy to use. I bought a second one as a gift. Shipping was fast. I have had it for 4 months and no issues.

Like everything except it doesn’t come with a storage box/bag unlike other brands.

Pricey... but Love it... Slim, light weight.. but the instructions is not in English... MUST - Push gas canister into slot so it clicks in order for it to light.

This is my second on the first one I purchased was gold. This one works great too. The red color is really nice! Perfect for Takoyaki, Nabe, or Yakiniku parties! Reminds me of my time living in Japan!

I want to use it for cooking on but instructions in different language make it impossible! Yes, it is pretty straightforward I know I have a camping gaz hob which is similar, BUT that came with instructions in English as well as in other languages also! This is a health and safety issue here, as it uses butane gas and l don't think you are meant to use them inside! Which is why I am desperate for instructions in English! If I knew before purchase the instructions were only in Japanese. I definitely would never have bought it! emailed Amazon .com, they said no returns because of safety reasons! ( gas, although there is no cannister in there!!!?) So disappointed, as the actual company in America have not replied either! Waste of my £70.00!!!

Sleek, modern low profile design makes a nice update to my 1990 Iwatani stove. On the negative side, I was looking forward to a case, having tired of my 1990 Iwatani stove's beat up cardboard box. I thought that these days they all came with cases, but all I got is a new cardboard box. And no returns! Minus two stars. Also, the instructions are in Japanese only. I read Japanese and the only non-obvious information is that the gas canisters expire after seven months, and the stove should be replaced every ten years. But replacement every 33 years worked for me.
