and really enjoy meal time
I have 2 rescue dogs. They will eat anything, and really enjoy meal time. We stick with grain free foods for several reasons. The biggest is that my female dog has allergy issues. I also think grain free is healthier for all dogs. My dogs do very well on any grain free brand they have tried. Both of my dogs transitioned very well to this food. No GI track issues at all. They both seem to love the taste. The pieces are small much like a small breed feed. My dogs are over 30 pounds. They do fine with the size and do not seem to care what size kibble they eat. I mention it for the owners that have dogs that do care about the size or shape of dog food.I wish this was potato free, but that is the only thing I would change about this food. Otherwise we are very pleased. The price was great for a grain free and the formula is a hit with my dogs. Also, the bag has a zipper closure. Much like a huge zip lock bag. I think this is a great feature. We have a large storage container, but this closure would he great for people that store dog food in the bag.

Good call on this product!
I have an over 10 Y.O. Shih-Tzu and Under 5 Y.O. Shiba Inu. They only eat dry dog food and are not allergic to any meat ingredients. I change their dog food every 6 months.I had a bad experience with Merrick Whole Earth Farms Grain-free Pork, Beef, & Lamb. The dogs vomited and had terrible diarrhea. The one before that was Merrick Earth Farms Chicken & Turkey Grain-free and they were perfectly fine. I followed the transition schedule too but that recipe just didn't work. I reported it to the company and well it could've just been a bad batch.I did a thorough research for a bargain and for good ingredients and bought this Midwestern Pet Foods PRO PAC Ultimates Overland Red natural Grain and Gluten Free. The dogs have responded well and normal. Both dogs were very interested in the food. No complaints yet. Bowel movements are normal and firm but not dry. Shiba Inu poops 2x/day and Shihtzu 1x/day.I've bought 2 so far and a 28-pound bad lasts for 2-3 months for my two dogs (approximately 3 cups/day).

High Quality for Reasonable Price
Pro Pac is an excellent value compared to other grain-free dog foods. My dogs enjoy the variety of flavors.

The absolute best dog food
The absolute best dog food! My 70 pound mix breed is allergic to EVERYTHING. This is the only thing he can eat without breakouts. All natural ingredients, grain free and NO fillers! He was eating a cup and a half of the "other" dog foods, but only eats about a cup of this twice a day. The 28-pound bag lasts him about 6 weeks. GREAT VALUE for a SUPERIOR dog food!

Great food, even for picky eaters
We adopted a rescue over the summer and the animal rescue recommended this food as they feed it to all of their dogs. Our new pup enjoys it very much and even our older much pickier dog switched to this food when he was turning his nose up at every other dry food we tried. The large bag lasts us about 1.5 months for two small (10-15lb) dogs. The bag is also resealable which is a nice bonus as I don't have to deal with transferring the food to smaller air tight containers.

Wanted to love it....
I really wanted to love this food, but there is something in it that makes our Chocolate Lab sick within minutes of eating it. We tried gradually switching by mixing it in with her usual brand (Nulo), but from the first time she got any of this she immediately regurgitated her dinner. Then we tried slightly less of this with her usual food and again, sick. After the 4th bout, we just stopped giving her any but since our little Pitty seems to love it and has no problems we kept feeding it to him -- I dropped no more than 5 pieces of this food on the ground by mistake and the Lab got it...and you guessed it, regurgitated her entire meal because of those 5 pieces. This is a tough dog -- she's a nearly 11 year old Lab that has eaten so many kinds of food over her life not to mention all of the things she shouldn't eat but occasionally finds/steals and I've never seen anything like this with her. 5 little pieces of this food is enough to make her lose her entire meal -- that's crazy! What's in this food that causes that kind of immediate, intense reaction in an otherwise normal, healthy dog?!

The dogs love this stuff.
Our very picky German Shepherd has started eating again! He normally eats about 1/2 of his allotted food. We have tried several other food options to account for his sensitive skin and stomach, including the following:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003R0LLIU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1While he still had 3-4 nights a week when he would wake up vomiting with the Purina food, he's only had 1-2 nights in the past month or so of eating this food. His coat is softer and he is shedding less, so that's a bonus too.We also feed this to our King Shepherd, who is a mix of a German Shepherd and a Great Pyrenees. She had a very rough and scratchy coat and was shedding badly on the old food. She now has a much softer and more shed resistant coat.

Good for all sized dogs.
I have 2 high energy dogs. This works well for the small dog and large dog. I would like it in a bigger bag. Both dogs are rescue dogs and will quit eating when stressed. This food allows them to keep weight on and has improved their coats.
