Incredible Value & Performance – A Must-Have Action Camera!
The media could not be loaded. A week before my Caribbean vacation, I finally decided to purchase an underwater camera for snorkeling after putting it off for too long. With so many options available, I carefully compared features, delivery time, and my budget before choosing this one.I couldn't be more impressed! This action camera captures stunning underwater photos and top-notch video quality, making it the perfect companion for my adventures. Transferring files to my phone is quick and seamless, which is a huge plus. For the price, this camera exceeds expectations, offering features and performance that rival high-end models. If you're looking for a reliable, feature-packed, and affordable action camera, this is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended!A Couple of Cons:When the camera is in the waterproof case, zooming in or out isn't possible. Perhaps the remote could work for this if placed in a waterproof pouch, but I haven’t had the chance to test that yet.I couldn't get the selfie screen on the front to function. It might be user error, but after reading the manual and going through the settings, I still couldn't figure it out. If there's a solution, I'd love to know!I also purchased the 42-accessory bundle and have only used a couple of items so far. The wrist float worked fantastically, and the wrist camera mount was also a great addition. Looking forward to trying out more accessories soon!(Note: The photos in my review were only edited to zoom in, and the video was simply merged from two clips and played at 2x speed—no other enhancements were made.)

Great Economical Alternative To High Priced Action Cams
I purchased the Akaso Brave LE Action Camera a few weeks ago and gave myself some time to put it through its paces. I have to say, considering the price point for this little action cam as compared to its much more expensive competitor, I am more than satisfied. Actually surprised! One of the most surprising things is that Akaso released the Brave 7LE with a front facing video screen quite a few weeks before those high priced guys did. Real handy for Vloggers or Selfie fanatics! The camera also comes supplied with a charger, 2 batteries, a waterproof case, and enough quality mounting accessories to mount the camera to almost anything. The Akaso Brave7 LE feels hefty for its size and appears well built and able to take a bit of a beating (although I admit, I wasn't willing to find out how much of a beating). It also harbors quite a few video and photographic modes and does well at them. My biggest gripe with cheaper cams has always been color balance. This is not an issue with the Brave 7LE. The pics and video quality the Brave 7LE produces far exceeded my expectations. The Akaso Brave 7LE has numerous video and photographic modes, all of which I've tried. There are even a couple of undocumented items that I stumbled across, one of which allows the camera to be used as a webcam! As mentioned, the camera includes many modes of operation for both video and still photography. My main reason for purchasing this camera was because I was dissatisfied with the camera that came with a drone I own. My problems with that camera were very poor color balance and picture clarity. After mounting the Akaso Brave 7LE to the drone and running a couple of flights, I was completely satisfied with the image stabilizing system Akaso engineered into the camera and the quality of the video and stills. I am also very satisfied, at this price point, with all of the other modes of operation the camera provides. One of the other modes of operation that really surprised me was the long exposure mode for stills. I live in a VERY dark area of the country. On a whim, I decided to take the Brave 7 LE with me on a Milky Way shoot along with my other cameras. I set the camera at ISO 3200 and a 30sec exposure and pointed it at the milky way and hit the shutter button. I was totally blown away by the result! There it was, big and bright, with good contrast, the Milky Way. I really was not expecting at all to get that kind of result out of a camera like this! Now, with that said, is it ALL rosy? Not exactly for those of us amature photographers that are a bit picky about the resulting photographs. Like most cameras that only provide .jpg result pictures, upon blowing the resulting pics up to size or wanting to print off an 8x10 or larger, you will notice some lost resolution in the details. I will say that it's minimal with the results of the Akaso Brave 7LE. The area I found the worst was in the aforementioned Long Exposure experiment. The resulting picture was VERY noisy and oversharpened. This happens due to the software built into the camera and the user has little control over that. Most people wouldn't care much about this, and for my purposes, I really don't either! There was only one thing I thought of that would make the camera package a little bit better and that was a cap for the lens would be nice. The camera is easily carried in a pocket and a lens cover would be helpful to keep the lens clean and free of scratches.Overall, the AKASO Brave 7LE is a great little camera at a great price in this category of camera. It also comes with great perks from AKASO if you care to take the company up on them.In my opinion, you really can't go wrong in this purchase.
