Bought two of these to put into access points into my offices, as we have a mandatory policy of taking the temperature of everyone who enters the building. We follow the government UK guidelines on temperature of 38deg and these temperature sensors are also set at 38deg, so they adhere to guidelines also.Straight from the onset they worked perfectly. Simply mount using the extra sticky double sided strips, or use the provided wall mounting screws and wall plugs. They are very light weight so do not put any strain on the fixings, so i have no fear of them falling off.To use, simply place your forehead 10cm from the scanner and slowly move forwards until it beeps. It will then immediately tell you your temperature. I believe you can switch the temperatures between C and F, but we don't use Freedom units in the UK, so Celcius was fine.We haven't yet had anyone test over 38Deg so cannot attest to the fact you should hear a double beep.Unlike other units, this device does not send a report of who tested for what as it has no WiFi or IoT capabilities, but it is a cost effective quick solution.It also only took a few days for these to arrive as they were shipped from the UK, unlike 90% of the chinese imports, that take anything up to 3 months to arrive.The ordering process was quick, simple and painless, as you would expect and demand it to be from the Amazon Marketplace.

Good product - works well - very simple. Have tested the readings with other temperature testing items and it is spot on. Shame it did not come with batteries and that is the only reason I knocked 1 star off and that put the pric up .. but I understand that shipping some items with batteries can be difficult.Apart from that can highly recommend it - and remember to buy the right battery..

We has previously bought hand help units and none of them really worked consistently. This works very well and has both a battery or plug in wall option when it arrives - making th elocution easy to decide. Not e that the batteries are not included and are an unseusal size, easy to get on amazon though.

It’s really well made and good equipment to have. No need to touch it. The only downside is that when it’s reading the temperature, the sound it’s making is too loud and make you jump😂apart from that it’s a good item to have in office.

Not tried unit yet as battery not included and as odd size need to order in - saw came with cable and thought sufficient - its not!
