The best interior bulb for us
While these were more expensive than I liked, after using them they proved their worth. Here is my story...I purchased and tested four different LED bulbs for interior lighting in our RV and this was by far the best of the bunch for this application. These Brightech bulbs have internal regulators that allow for a wide operating voltage and well controlled power consumption. This also translates to longer life. The color temperature (~3000 Kelvin estimated) was closer to incandescent than any others tested. The brightness is comparable to the 18 watt 1141 bulbs they replaced. See image. The Brightech is on the left and incandescent on the right. The camera catches more of the red from the incandescent. In person they are very close. If a quality incandescent-like replacement is what you want, then this is likely it. Now for the technical stuff...At 12.48 volts (engine off) the bulbs drew 155 milliamps (0.155A). With the engine on, (14.5V) they drew 127mA (0.127A). Yes, the input current and the power consumption dropped as a result of the great internal regulation. It was completely opposite with the other bulbs tested because they do not have regulators. After operating the Brightech LED bulb with the cover on for 15 minutes in the ceiling fixture of our coach, the operating temperature of the bulb reached 40C (104F). It was easy to touch and handle during and immediately after operation. This was not the case for the other bulbs tested. In fact one of the other LED bulbs tested reached nearly 100C (212F), the boiling point of water. The three other LED bulbs tested were from left to right in the 2nd image:CCIYU Pack of 4 Warm White 1156 BA15S (Suitable as a blinker bulb only! Perfect replacement for RV lighting
I have researched LED lights for years. I replaced every light (60 can lights) in my home withe LED lights, my landscape lighting, and now my RV. For me, the most important development into LED lights was the temperature (color). When LED lights first came out, they were that funky blue-white color. Extremely bright, but not easy on the eyes. Finally, over the past year, the color temperature was all but perfected. If you want lights that put out color similar to the light bulbs we all grew up with, a warm but bright glow, then temperature close to 2800K is what you are looking for. Anything above the 3500K range gets really white, and above 4000k borders blue-white.These LED lights are really nice. The temperature (color) is very close to my current RV light, and uses a FRACTION of the electricity. I would say that you likely should be using them behind a lens of some sort, because despite the color being great, they are really really bright to look at. Diffusing them behind a lens is just easier on the eyes. My current experience with LED lights is that they are dimmable and seem to last well. Not sure if these dim, but I imagine they would?Durability on this product is the only thing I cant speak to as of yet. They seem built really well, I had 0 failures so far on any of the LEDs and I am crossing my fingers that I will never need to replace them again. Packaging on these was fine. Well boxed and protected. It will be nice when the cost drops further. Now that the research and development costs are likely over the huge hurdles, maybe the manufacturer and seller will go for the quantity sales, and capture the entire market...albeit not likely for some time.In closing, these look great, use very little precious juice from my RV batteries, are brighter than my current bulbs, and will hopefully last quite some time.

Great lamp but far too expensive for RV use.
Pros: Best 1156 type LED I have tried. Color (soft white) and output (200 lumens) is perfect for RV use and is as bright as my old incandescent lights. Also, it uses nearly no power compared to standard 1156 bulbs so you don't have to worry about draining your battery. Runs cool so they won't melt holes in the light fixture covers if you leave them on for a few hours (or days) like standard 1156 bulbs.Cons:Cost is prohibitive if you have a large RV to equip. I need about 30 bulbs for my trailer. Not going to happen at $15 each. I can buy A19 size LED bulbs for my house lamps for $8 so why are these little bulbs so expensive? Would have rated 5 stars if the cost was reasonable.UPDATE:Now that the price has dropped to a more reasonable level I'll be ordering more soon. I love these bulbs!

Nice, warm LED lights for RV
Bought these for our 09 Winnebago View motorhome to put in the ceiling fixtures. Easy to install. All are working well so far. I like the color of the light output. Very similar to the original incandescent bulbs. They may be a little bit less bright. But for me, this is a plus because I think the original incandescent bulbs were too bright, since they are 2 to a fixture and there are several fixtures in this 25 foot Class C motorhome. Only time will tell how these hold up. The previous set of LEDS we bought were way too bright and way too cool. They didn't last long and then they started to flicker and fail. I've bought 10 so far and I will probably buy a few more to replace the remaining outlier fixtures. So far, these bulbs are a winner!Edit - One year follow-up - 7/20/17. All bulbs still working great. I still like the quality (warm white) and the brightness of the light.

It's up to you
I have used Baby Foot in the past and believe it worked better for me than this product. Maybe because with BF you soak your feet first or my feet are worst this time but this one costs considerably less. It probably has the same ingredients but maybe something you'll want to compair. This may work just as good for you.
