Manuka Honey Exfoliating Face Scrub – Gentle Microdermabrasion Face Exfoliator to Help Smooth, Soften & Balance with Moisturizing Organic Superfoods 2oz

I am 71 years old, and have been using this face scrub/mask for about two weeks. First of all, I don't have any major skin problems. I have been using all natural products on my face for the last couple of years, and noticed a couple of what looks like blackheads at the side of my nose. Whether this was caused by the oils I use on my face or just an aging thing, I don't know. At any rate, I decided it was time to look for a facial scrub, and chose this one because of the natural ingredients. As a facial scrub, I love it. The granules are small and not like rocks and the substance they are in applies easily and fluidly. The directions on the container recommend applying and leaving on your face for 1-3 minutes. Since I don't have a lot of spare time and am always in a hurry, I have managed to leave it on for 1 minute and have used it 3 times per week. I have noticed that the little blackheads around my nose are disappearing, it rinses off easily, and my face feels so much cleaner feeling than it has with other cleansers I have tried. I do use rose water and a natural moisturizer afterwards, and have to say that my skin looks brighter and healthier. I have not yet tried this product as a facial mask that would require leaving it on for 15-20 minutes, but I will try this in the near future. If this works as a mask, it would be so much better than the thick grey stuff you need to smear on your face and let it dry until it cracks. At this point, I am very happy with the results when using this product and would recommend it. As yet, I have had absolutely no problems with sensitivity or adverse effects. I will update this review if my opinion changes or if I have any additional information. UPDATE 7/04/18: For the last couple of weeks, I have tried applying this mask to my face before I take a bath and leaving it on until the end of my bath. As a mask, it doesn't get stiff and dry as other masks I have tried and it rinses off easily at the end of my bath. As a mask, I can't honestly say that it does much more than using it as a cleanser, but I do like the way my face feels after using it. As a scrub, I like it very much and will continue to use it. UPDATE 03/02/20: I am now 73 years old, and have been using this scrub for almost 2 years. To be honest, I haven't been consistent in when I use it. Sometimes I use it once a week and other times I go as much as a month between uses. What I have noticed when I use it is that my face feels silky smooth after I rinse it off. I have also noticed that none of the pores on my face look enlarged. I use warm water on my face before applying it and then use warm water to rinse it off. I still very much like this scrub and will continue using it. I am not good at taking selfies, but I have added a picture of me at 73. You be the judge. I hope this review was helpful for you. I had used a botanical scrub with crushed almonds before and loved it, but it went off the market. Have been trying a variety of exfoliating scrubs with none equaling until I found this. Far better than more expensive products. You only need to use a bit but leaves face feeling so smooth. Affordable and it works!

I've been using this product for a couple of weeks now, and I prefer this much more over just chemical exfoliants. It immediately leaves my skin looking bright, vibrant, hydrated, and soft. It gets rid of dull textures and reduces blackheads as well. This will be a common part of my routine now, as I have seen great results with just a couple of uses! Don't be fooled by the small bottle, sure when you first get it you'll think "this is really small, it's not worth my money" but you don't actually need a lot of product to get the full coverage or benefits. Plus, I only use this when my skin is looking dull from all the dead skincell buildup, which is once every other couple of weeks. So if you're using this 2-3 times a week I feel you may go through the product very quickly. What I liked: - The mixture is light and creamy and goes on well. - The walnut granules are soft enough on your skin that they're not abrasive. After exfoliation it leaves my skin feeling soft, and my dull skin looks bright and vibrant! It has also helped to regulate my blackheads. - It is surprisingly hydrating when it glides on your skin. Because of the aloe, honey, and rapeseed oil it feels like a film/ mask that's keeping the moisture in on your skin in. What I didn't like: - The product is not sealed beneath the cap. Once you open it, the product is visible, which makes it seem like someone may have used it and returned it. It would feel more hygenic if there was a breakable seal, that way we know the product was not tampered with.

I rarely write revues, but I felt the need to introduce others to this product. I am older and for a while have been feeling like my face just isn't getting clean with the current cleansers I have been using, especially around the edges (jawline). I don't use a lot of foundation so I was disappointed that they couldn't do a simple job. I even had a facial thinking that would help, but it changed nothing. I ordered this era organics revive + and am so pleasantly surprised. It has walnut shell powder to slough off dead cells and aloe and manuka honey as well as cehaml extract to soothe. You can use it as a mask for a few minutes before you shower. I love how my aging skin feels - no rough edges!

It feels creamy has a nice neutral smell and the scrub is nice

Great exfoliation, but I have some product concerns. I used this exfoliator and I enjoyed the experience. It left my face soft and squeaky clean. The scent is heavy on the walnut, and I like earthy smells! My concerns: Packaging. I'm not impressed with the plastic. The look of the product in the packaging concerned me enough to scoop out the product and weigh it (It came out to 1.9oz). For the price, I'd expect packaging to not be a concern. EWG rating. This product is a 3 on the EWG scale, with emulsifying wax being a high concern. I would love if this product could get EWG certified!

This Manuka Honey Exfoliating Face Scrub is basically a spa day in a jar minus the robe and cucumber water. It exfoliates just enough to make my skin feel baby-smooth without feeling like I rubbed my face with sandpaper. The honey leaves my skin glowing, soft, and happily hydrated, not tight or dry. Bonus points for smelling amazing and making my face feel like it finally has its life together. If you want smooth, radiant skin and a little “treat yourself” moment at the sink, this scrub is it. Five stars my face is obsessed 🍯✨
