Great product for the price
These potholders are replacing long, overused everyday pot holders. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and features of these very inexpensive items. They have a pocket for hand or pot handle. They are a bit thin but can easily be doubled for very hot dishes. An added featured is the use as a trivet.Consider purchasing for everyday use.

A good value pack of pot holders (but don't use them with your hands inside)
I was looking for some pot holders, and the ability to put my hands inside to hold them was a plus. I tried it once and I quickly decided against using them that way. The inside to outside is not thin, but it's not thick enough to not get burned. However, as a pot holder you hold from the outside and cover it over the hot surface it works just fine, and you get 5 for the price so if you are looking for basic large pot holders this could be a good buy for you.

Good Value For Thin Pot Holders
They are ok, Ikea quality with some heat protection but not much cushion and get warm fast. Using in rental unit, wouldn't use in my own home.

Great potholders
These potholders look good, they washed well and look good out of the dryer. They are the perfect thickness, not so thick that you can’t get a cookie sheet out of the oven. They appear to be well made.

More for “show” and not practical
These came packaged very well. My disappointment when I opened them is that they are very thin. I am certain they won’t do for taking hot pans out of the oven, however; they will probably work for setting hot pans on at the counter or table, like a trivet. They also don’t look very quality, I got the black ones and there are white specs in the fabric which take away from the look.

Better than I expected
I've used these pot holders for several months now and have washed them multiple times. Some of my old pot holders were so thick that it was difficult to bend them to pick up a cookie sheet without dragging part of the pot holder onto a cookie. Others were too thin to use on pans that were under the broiler. These pot holders are a great balance of insulation and flexibility. The size makes them large enough to grab onto a variety of shapes (cookie sheets, casserole dishes, cast iron pans, etc.) yet not so big that they're difficult to maneuver.I appreciate the pocket on one side that I can slide my hand into if I want more control. It is nice to have that extra control for holding onto a bowl of soup or oatmeal that his hot from the microwave. I also use the pocket to slide the pad over handles that get hot, like on my cast iron skillets, as a reminder to not just grab the handle.I bought the black ones. They laundered without bleeding onto other things in the wash. They didn't shrink or wrinkle up. (I hang them to dry, which doesn't take long.) They do have a tendency to pick up a little lint but it isn't the sort of thing where the lint is going to drop or rub off into food. These neatly stack in a drawer or hang by the fabric loop. I keep mine in a drawer where they're easy to grab. It is nice that enough of them come in a package that while some are in the wash I still have some in the drawer.Overall, I'm very happy with these. My old ones are in the trash, except for a few of the very heavy duty ones which now are used for the barbecue.

Back to basics
When I was growing up, potholders were always padded squares of quilted cotton, usually with a loop in the corner for hanging. I find this style can be difficult to locate these days, with gloves and silicone mitts being far more prevalent. So I was really pleased to be offered these for review which, if not identical to the style of my youth, are very close indeed. In this pack, you get 5 x generously-sized potholders in a mix of blue (2) and red (3) for £12.99 at time of review. It’s a little more than I might have expected to pay for such a simple item, but then again the economy is different since my youth too! These have a little upgrade in that they do have a pocket to slip your hand inside, but they work just as well if this is ignored and they are not too bulky either in storage or in use, whilst still protecting hands and surfaces from hot cookware.

Very nice
I really like them. Not to thick but enough to hold out heat when pulling pans out of oven

Decent enough if used within their obvious limitations
These are fairly small (22cmx17cm) mitts made of a relatively thin somewhat heat resistant material. Considerably less clumsy than really thick oven gloves which are sometimes inconveniently joined together.Fine for taking stuff out of the microwave, the lid off a hot pan or similar stuff. However as is probably pretty obvious from the appearance I would not use these to remove a really hot pot of almost overflowing food from the oven. I am slightly thrown that there is an odd number supplied but five at the price is pretty fair. We do find these quite a useful kitchen item if used within their limitations.
