Smells like acetone. Not good! Don’t buy.
I’ve been brewing booch for a long time. I ran out and in a pinch I ordered this starter. Awful. It smells like acetone. I’ve never smelled a kombucha starter/scoby smell like this before, you don’t get a whif of any vinegar. Just acetone (nail polish remover. Totally can’t be safe. So disappointed. Don’t buy!

Scoby was not in good shape and eventually I had to throw it away.
The scoby was quite a small rectangle and immediately sunk to the bottom of my jar, which is not a problem; however it remained there and turned dark and eventually rotted. Thankfully another scoby did grow on top before I had to throw the little piece away.

poor instrunctions
it came with a small square scoby I think, 1 big teabag, size not indicated or how to use. I think it should have direct understandable instructions.

Llego en mal estado el scoby
El scoby llego un trozo de color negro que no logro reactivarse luego de semanas en te. Una pérdida de dinero.
