UPDATE (2nd order - Linen): I ordered the 'linen' colour for my second nightdress buy from Belle Poque: what can I say, except to say that this linen colour is absolutely sensational - retro 1940s style vintage but at the same time very chic and modern. An absolute dream to wear. Thank you Belle Poque and Amazon :D--(1st order and review - black) It's been tricky to find well priced nightdresses that are robust and feel like a quality item. A lot of the vintage ones today are flimsy and get damaged easily. This style, however, comes beautifully packaged and has a decent weight to it, so even before trying it on you know it is a quality item. Although not made of silk, it certainly has that feel to it, but for a fraction of the price. I've bought really expensive style by jane Woolrich in the past, and yet my trusty Shadowline ones eventually broke after twenty odd years. I expect I will have this style for some time yet. I purchased it in black, but am tempted to buy the ivory and linen versions too. For only £25, I can honestly say it is one of the most beautiful things I have ever owned. I wore it for three nights running when I first got it. I would suggest ordering to your own size....I got the L but could have fit into a medium....depends whether you have a modest or generous bust size I suppose. Anyway, thank you to the designer for creating such beautiful clothes that are modern but with a retro feel. Will be buying from you again for sure. Also...this nightdress has a generous lace hem, which has been missing from so many modern styles (if they bothered with a lace hem at all). Love it. Thank you :D

Lovely full slip. Just as described and pictured. Colour is lovely and very pretty with lace detailing. It is very comfortable and helps my dresses flow lovely.

I wear this as a slip. I really loved the way it fits. The length for me is perfect for under a skirt or dress.
