I was looking for a steel blue cotton yarn to complete a market bag and found it on Amazon! Product is nice, good quality and great color! Glad I bought extra skeins as it is smaller in quantity per skein.

I like how shiny and lustrous it looks. So when I first got this I didn't realize how small 109 yd of yarn was 😅. So I had to order more than one of the blue and white to finish my granny square top project. I also didn't realize what mercerized meant. So I had mercerized cotton from 24/7 so I thought it meant that it was woven in such a way that the knot wouldn't fray easily. But that is not what it means 😅. So this yarn does fray and open up so I do have to hold it in a way to make it easy to work with. Hence the 4 stars vs 5. But I do like that the treatment the yarn gets makes it soft so I don't get like that rough callus I get on my index finger when I work with 24/7 yarn. I also thought it would be thinner being a 3 weight yarn but it still felt the same as my 24/7 4 weight yarn. Maybe it's different in Europe? Overall a good experience with this yarn and company! IAlso I'm in the US so I had no idea it was coming from Europe! So plan accordingly to make sure you have enough yarn to finish your project to avoid waiting! I appreciate the free shipping!

I bought this to crochet a doll skin, but it is so shinny I think I will use it for hair instead. There are 10 strands in it, and says to use a 4mm hook, but I may try a smaller one. Maybe 2.5mm?I thought I was getting two, because of the photo. I did not read the description well enough, it is only one. Over all it is pretty and I am happy with the purchase.

Product is almost as thin as crochet thread. Not sure I'm going to like it, but will keep it until I find a use for it.

not a very soft yarn more like string. strands easily separated while knitting. I’m going to finish my project, a baby sweater, with it but I was very disappointed. It is not fun to knit with it.

The softness and sheen of this Muskat mercerized cotton yarn show a big difference with regular cotton yarn. It's very easy to work with. The label stated "Made in EU". The package was mailed from Germany. This explained the relatively high shipping cost and the delay in the delivery (in average 3 weeks), but it's worthy.Actually, it's even cheaper, compared to mercerized cotton yarn of other brands. I ordered 3 balls for a total of $17.41 (tax and SH included): $5.80/ball. The price of the same yarn of other brands is $6.00 or more per ball, with Prime free shipping.I'll order more in the future, in different colors (35 colors to choose from).I highly recommend this Muskat mercerized cotton.

beautiful color 82, I would say it is lavender with a soft shine. The thread is nice, there were no knots in the ball

I like this cotton. I have been knitting a series of fingerless gloves with it. I highly recommend using Prym's ergonomic needle series for knitting it. The yarn is not a tightly coiled or 'worsted strand. Traditional bamboo or metal knitting needles may split the strand. I have found the Prym needles perfect for using with it. The correct slipperiness and the knobbed tips reduce splitting otherwise it's a very nice affordable high quality mercanized 100% cotton. Perfect for people who find wool itchy and man made fibres hot.My yarn came quickly, expertly packed and shipped. No duty was applied to my package and it arrived in record time during the COVID-19 pandemic. Perfect!
