I bought this for my great nephew's first Christmas as I used to read this to my own children when they were little. The story is so lovely and this edition is very special - the cover makes it a really beautiful gift.

Oh the sentimental value of this cannot be described - it was my (grown up) daughter's childhood favourite and this little reissue, in a sheeny pink cover with little cut out hearts, is a keepsake now and for (I hope) many generations to come. Such a classic, simple yet touching little tale, it encapsulates all the boundless love we feel for our children. We wore out at least two books when she was young, read them till they fell apart so to find this little gem, at less than £7, to keep forever is just wonderful. I sighed with happiness.
