Works great, excellent customer support.
This is the exact replacement remote I needed for my serta bed base -- appreciated the expedited shipping that got it to me quickly. Pairing was very easy -- the unit came with clear written instructions for pairing, a QR code linking to a demonstration video, and a phone number to call if all else fails. Didn't need to phone a friend since everything worked as expected the first time. The most challenging bit is rummaging around under your bed to find the box to pair with -- after you do that, its easy peasey!

Great product
It paired quick with good instructions and works great so far. I did not use the supplied batteries and put in Interstates. I know they last. I got the tip from another review as the supplied batteries leaked and ruined their remote.

It works, instructions are lousy
Well it's expensive, but in line with mattresses stores which largely don't stock it anymore. Funky instructions don't point to the correct button on below the bed unit to push first but there is an assist number. I got it to work in 5 min w/o calling for helpTHROW AWAY (RECYCLE) THE EL CHEAPO AAA BATTERIES IT COMES WITH. This is what killed my first unit and cost me $140 in four years. They excreted alkalai all over the unit. Cleaned it out and worked for a while, then headrest button died. Don't be penny wise and pound foolish. Invest in some Energizer alkaline or rechargeable Eneloops.

A little pricey, but a very nice replacement solution
I bought this replacement remote for my 10 year old Serta Motion Essentials adjustable bed which is in mint condition. My original corded remote was not working correctly Among other things, when i pressed for head up, feet would go up as well. So I had to raise the feet and then raise head to get to a comfortable position. Very annoying, Then the remote control wires started fraying at the point they into the remote, so I knew I had to find a replacement before the wires gave out all together. I learned Serta no longer sells the corded remote and so the only option I had was this solution. I choked at the price...but getting a new adjustable bed was in the $700 range so I figured I just had to bite the bullet. The unit arrived quickly and I installed it right away. Essentially a new controller box is provided that takes the place of the controller box mounted to the underside of the adjustable bed. Its just a matter of unplugging the header and footer plugs from the old controller and plugging them into the new controller and then swapping out the power cord section that plugs into the controller. Communication between the new controller and remote is wireless. I put batteries in the new remote (3 AAAs) and I was in business. It worked first time no problem. I am satisfied with the solution albeit pricey. Things to know, its a bugger-bear reaching under the bed to unplug and replug the header/footer plugs even after sliding and detaching the original controller from the base itself. In my case I have two adjustable beds that sit inside a king size bed frame. The ideal would have been to flip the adjustable bed on its side to replace the unit, but this would have meant taking the frame apart as well and so I did the install in place. I felt like Houdini manipulating my arms to get the unit in but I did manage to do it. My only complaint is that the new unit does not slide back onto the original mount and so its left to hang down or you have to find a way to mount it. I was going to use tie straps to overcome this, but could not find a way to do this. I will continue to try and find a solution. Not a show stopper but it would have been nice to have it slide back into the original mount. A pro with the new remote is in addition to the original controls there is a "zero-gravity" button and a "flat" button. Definitely like both of these and having these helps (a little) to take the sting out of the price. Not having to deal with the cord is another bonus. I have back issues that cause me to have to adjust the bed several times during the night. Having a replacement solution is a god send, I only just installed it so only time will tell how long it lasts. Overall I am very satisfied with the solution.

Works great.
Works great. Fairly easy to remove old remote and install new. I'm old, my beds on risers. So I had to crawl underneath remove 2 small bracket screws that hold a loop in the cord, unplug the old cord and plug in the new. Loop the cord, pop the brackets back up and done. Seems a bit expensive. But still cheaper than having to buy a new adjustable base. We will see how long it last.

Syncing
It was impossible to get the remote to sync with my bed frame.

Perfect
My son broke my remote to my bed and I found this one which matched my old bed. It was perfect and when I had trouble programming the company that I got it from was so helpful and even sent a you tube video and pictures to help this poor older lady.Thank you
