These mitts are great. They seem to be very well made and were offered at a very affordable price. I try and reserve 5-star ratings for products that go above and beyond what I expect from them and have given these gloves a 5-star rating because of their durability and value. I cannot recall what the highest temperature that they are rated for but I know that when I grabbed a 475 degree cast iron skillet from the oven they did not melt or deform in any way. While the handle of the skillet was hot, even through the glove, it was tolerable enough to get from the oven to the counter with no problem and without any pain. If used for 400 degrees or less (like I assume they're meant for) you could hold a pot, pan or dish for an extended period of time with no discomfort.If you're looking for a very economical but very sturdy set of silicone oven gloves look no further - this is as good as they come in this price range.

Basically they are silicone potholders made into gloves (2 gloves in the package I received).First of these I ever tried so I am pleased with the product for the entry level price. I tested them with a hot pan off the BBQ and they worked fine for the short time. I felt safer then using potholders alone. I can't say I would use them to pick up something as hot as a cast iron pan.The fit to me seems between small and medium mens. I had to add some talcum power inside to slip them off and on. They are not for fine finger work :) But they grab onto glass cookware just great.I also used them under real hot water and they worked fine. Washed up good.

This was not what I expected to receive, but I like them much better than what I thought I had ordered. I think the title of the product is misleading as I thought I was also receiving a pot holder with the gloves. Obviously, I did not look closely at the pictures, as it shows just 2 gloves.I like that the gloves are not lined so they will be easy to keep clean on the inside. The gloves slide on easily (I have small hands) and very flexible. They are not bulky and lie flat so they fit in the drawer. Plus,the gloves provide great protection for even the hottest pan.

Product is great, but I only got one oven mitt. I ordered "Chefaith Silicone Oven Mitts" (plural), and the picture shows two mitts.

Save your money a maybe a accident or two! I should have paid more attention to the description "HEAT RESISTANCE". Heat resistance for a very short time(time as in seconds). In removing two large casseroles from a 425 degree oven while wearing these mittens nearly got me in serious trouble. I really feel had I tried to hold out longer before getting rid of the casseroles I would have been in real trouble. This same job has been carried out many times over the years with less problems. And, I am a welder, handling lots of hot items in the course of doing a job, feel that my regular welders leather work gloves are equal or better than these mittens, and yes I know they are not for welding! I was expecting much, but almost got some bad results! These are incredible. I love them. My traditional oven mitts never offered enough protection. I love to cook and I have several burn scars on my arms from using hot pads. They get often get soiled and need to be laundered.These on the other hand are a game changer. If I accidentally stick my thumb in the casserole pulling it out of the oven I can just rinse them off. They offer a lot more protection and have a lot more versatility than using hot pads. Strongly recommend to anyone that cooks, bakes, and bbq's a lot. Super helpful silicone mitts. Just wish I had found them a whole lot earlier in my life.

These work, but one still needs to be careful - they are not completely heat proof. I find when I pick up my roasting pan for example, it can fine, but then the heat gets hotter and stays with the glove! So on first impact with the hot thing you are picking up you think it's fine, but be careful as it will heat up within the glove and then it's hard to get off and hurts somewhat. And I am not really using my oven at extremely high temps. The gloves do help to get certain things out better than other devices. Maybe these are more for grilling.

These work great and are perfect for the rotisserie when you need to handle food. They are silicone so you can keep them sanitary for handling food. I also have a pair of fabric style BBQ gloves which work a little better at high heat, but you should not handle food with them. These are also easy to clean. These are a must for anyone who loves to grill (and especially use the rotisserie).
