Very expensive, perfect for a boost
Clif Bloks are horrendously expensive at approximately 42p per blok (there are 6 bloks in each individually wrapped packet, and this box includes 18 packets, so a total of 108 bloks), but they are great quality and just right for a boost during long duration activity. We have ours for long cycle rides and in the past I have used them in marathons and marathon training. When you need a boost they are great for easily digestible and fast absorbing sugars, and the caffiene included really helps too. Each blok is chunky but a suitable size to eat, and they are smooth and easily chewable. The flavour is not strong - which is perfect for when you don't necessily feel like eating but need some rapid fuel. We keep these for the very special training sessions or events where a boost is needed.

Great long ride fuel
I use these on my long rides, alternate between a bar and one of these every half hour and I can go all day. When I'm starting top flag a little, one of these 5-10 mins before a climb and you notice the difference.Also used them for a 200km overnight ride, where the caffeine is a bonus
