Laying Hen Nest Box Pads Made in USA from Sustainable Aspen Exceslior - 13x13 Nesting Box Liners (12 Pack)

Our hens have liked these pads better than anything else we’ve tried. Despite the girls aggressively fluffing them up, they hold together. We tried silicone pads for easier cleaning but they were not a hit. We have better egg production and our little flock seems happy when everything is fluffed up.These are easy to remove to shake out waste & feathers. We have been able to use them for about a month or more.We recently built a larger coop… if this is available in a 16 x 40 piece or roll, we would love it!

My hens are really happy with this product, as am I! The nest boxes stay so MUCH tidier and the eggs are clean. I just plopped them in the box (they fit perfectly) and BOOM, done!

I had used straw in the past, but found my chickens will eventually throw most of it out. These are nice since they are not going to just lay on them all the time, and will lay their eggs and get out for the next hen to go in without making a hole to the bottom where the eggs get broken. I have 65 hens and 12 nest boxes and these make a big difference

The media could not be loaded.  The Mother Cluckers use these and love them so much! We have 8 laying hens and have used a version of excelsior pads in the past. This type is pretty thin and does make a mess though; every time we get one out, it pulls strings from the next pad. They are Convenient to toss when they are dirty and I actually think it makes the coop more sanitary but it does contribute to more waste. Our girls like them so much that it’s worth the mess. I would definitely buy again.

I tried switching to synthetic reusable pads but noticed a drop in egg production so decided to switch back to these and our hens are considerably happier. We have a small flock and the pads last us a few months before we need to restock.

The media could not be loaded.  I like that the chickens cannot kick these out of the nesting boxes like they do with wood shavings. So far so good. I am tempted to cut these down so they fit perfectly in the nesting boxes. I’m hoping these stay clean and last quite a while.

These are so nice to put in my nesting boxes! Easy to put in and out and my girls can’t kick them out of the nesting box! We’re pleased so far!

We put these in our laying boxes to try and get our girls to start laying in the boxes instead of the goat hay. The problem is that as soon as these get wet- they become a nightmare and are basically trashworthy. Also, there was no way to plump them up so they are really are like the picture- hard discs of hay like material.
