EXPENSIVE AND SURELY IT IS THE BEST ???
This is a VERY VERY expensive oil. Normally I use Mobil 1 from Walmart that comes to $5.50 a qt. This is more than double the price. Yes it is a good oil and at this rate my engine will outlast everything else in the car. Bear in mind compared with all the other components of a car, from electrical, cooling, brakes, emission, drivetriains etc......, the engine is the most fail-safe part of the modern vehicle. Sure we want to protect our engine to last forever, but whats the point when all other components started to fall apart way before then. Another factor to consider . All modern synthetic oils are good and rarely would you find a name brand that doesn't live up to the API rating. In time, I'm sure another brand will market a new oil claiming to be the best of the best and price it as the most expensive oil. As a result of the marketing blitz it will again have consumers vouching for it as the best of the best.

Great synthetic oil
Yes it's expensive, but it still looks brand new after 7,000 miles. When I drained the full synthetic oil my dealer installed it was black at 7,000 miles. I'm sure I could leave it in another 7,000 miles but I choose not to. My car has very specific oil requirements. This stuff is worth the expense for piece of mind. One thing I did notice, this oil is no longer recommended or used by Ferrari. Also, the bottle no longer bears a Ferrari logo, but the image from the seller does. Attached image is old bottle left, next to new bottle right.

Package while making sure there are no spills
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I haven’t used it yet, but it’s a good brand so I’m sure it works fine. Product was exactly what I was looking for, and it was packaged very well in an appropriate size box inside a plastic bag with a seal sticker over the cap, making sure there were no spills

The Dart has an Alfa Romeo engine and that is why they recommend this oil
If you have a Dodge Dart Aero this is one of the only Synthetic Oils that meets or exceeds the manufacturers specifications. Since the car has a turbo you need to use this oil. The Dart has an Alfa Romeo engine and that is why they recommend this oil. This is my third oil change with the Pennzoil 5W-40 and it shows very little signs of breakdown even after 8500 miles of mixed highway and back road travel. When needed, the car will wind up to 6500 RPM's and this oil will take the punishment of high RPM use. When I changed the oil the color of the oil looked close to what it was when I originally put it into the car. I found that I my miles per gallon does not decrease significantly as I get close to an oil change. I average about 35.5 miles per gallon at the beginning of a change and drop to 35.2 miles per gallon at the end of the cycle. There see very little loss of oil during the cycle about 1/2 of a quart over 8500-10,000 miles. The filter showed little discoloration as well - a very good sign! I am not sure if this is typical and this is now my third oil change on this car. The first change I did at 500 miles since it had been sitting at the dealership for almost 7 months without being used and did not want old oil in the vehicle for a long commute. This is a very difficult oil to find locally and I love that I can order online and have it in 2 days. I use this oil with a WIX filter and I am very happy with the performance of this product. My only complaint is that I wish they would sell this in a 5 quart container, but that is just a personal preference.

Excellent Oil
Pennzoil Platinum Euro Full Synthetic 5W40 is hard to find locally and I won't use anything else in my 2018 FIAT 500 Abarth, a turbocharged 4 cylinder. Oil is critical to any engine but even more so in the case of FIAT's MultiAir valve actuation system which uses engine oil via a computer controlled solenoid to actually open and close the intake valves, allowing both variable valve timing and variable valve lift. There are less expensive full synthetics but this one is factory approved .... the added peace of mind is worth it.

Works well for 2001 BMW 325i.
I replaced the motor oil in my 2001 BMW 325i with M54B25 engine using this product. This change was accomplished approximately 3,000 miles ago, I have observed that my vehicle continues to operate smoothly, maybe even smoother than when I was using another oil brand - so I feel rather satisfied with this purchase. As context for this review, prior to purchasing this product, I conducted research on suitable grades of motor oil for the 2001 BMW 325i. I learned from an article published on BMWBlog that in January 2015, BMW switched their official recommended oil supplier from Castrol to Shell. If I remember correctly, the article states that Pennzoil is a Shell company. Although this particular product was not specifically recommended or mentioned in the article, from further research on suitable motor oil grades, I came to determine that this Pennzoil product might be appropriate for my specific application. If you wish to learn more, you can find the article I mentioned by searching the Internet for "BMWBlog Pennzoil". Unfortunately, I have not had an opportunity to investigate and verify the author's claim by reviewing official press that BMW released around that time.
