I've been using these for 2 months and it's the only type of melatonin that work for my type of insomnia. I can fall asleep sitting up straight but I cannot STAY asleep. I went from making up 5-6 times a night to waking up 0-1 times. They smell awful, so bad I have to wash my hands after taking one and I ALWAYS take it right before I brush my teeth. But other than the smell, it's perfection.

As you might expect from reading the dosage information, this is not a real strong sleep aid. The first week I used it, there wasn’t any indication it was doing anything. In the second week, I began to notice that I went to sleep faster and appeared to be sleeping longer before waking up to use the bathroom. After four weeks of use, these results have been confirmed. The only problem is occasionally waking up to use the bathroom too close to normal wake-up time I may not get back to sleep as quickly, or at all. I find that taking it 45-50 minutes before bedtime works best for me. I’ve also learned that this is most effective if left in the blister pack until I’m ready to take the pill (as stated on the blister pack). Note: The taste of the pill is strange.

It must be the valerian, but these smell awful! If that bothers you, maybe try the gummies. So far, I've tried several types of the ZZZquil naturals and these are by far my favorite in the way they work. I sleep much better for longer with no morning grogginess. Even if I wake for the bathroom, I go right back to sleep instantly. These are life changing!

I felt like I slept and was awake for most of the night, if that makes sense. It is almost 12 hours since I took it, and I am still tired. I regularly take the ingredients in this, without feeling like this. I don't know if it was just a bad night for me or if these just don't work for me. Not eager to repeat the experience.

i have bought this 4x plus at this point, it definitely has a weird smell and the taste isn’t the greatest, HOWEVER, as someone whose been an insomniac for years but hated feeling groggy in the morning with other melatonins, this doesn’t at all and gently lulls you to sleep. will continue to repurchase for sure.

This actually has given me some restful sleep with my black out curtains. Even if you wake up to go to the restroom, you can still fall back asleep. It really only does work for 6 hours though and sometimes I wish it would work longer but I’m quite happy with it. I’ll definitely keep occasionally using as a night shifter.
