Keeps the dirt from the dog off the seat. The front part of the cover has no way to be kept from coming up so I have to pull it down occationally. I've only had it for a month but the material seems durable. One item that I did not see in the description of the product is that the back side of the cover where the horizontal and vertical parts meet has a small tube attached that can be shoved between the back cushion and the seat to keep the cover from pulling forward.

Works very well for the most part, but no way is provided to keep the seat portion anchored, which allows that part of the seat cover to bunch up when the dog moves around, especially if it's a large dog as mine is. However, I found this problem to be easily remedied by using several large spring clips to clip the front lower section to the seat frame. The clips are available anywhere office products are sold.

Definitely needed this. Tan dog, black leather interior... must have.My dog prefers to sit up front, and this really protects my seats and holds the hair and dirt. Very carefully remove it, and the dirt and hair will shake right off. Minimal cleaning of the actual seat!

I got one for each of my front seats. The fit is pretty good, but not a perfect fit. One of them developed a small tear along the seam between seat top and seat side. It still functions well, though. It definitely does the job of keeping the seats protected and clean, even with wet and muddy paws jumping in. Good value for the price.

After a few washings the material starts to fall off onto car seat. Also nothing on front to hold it down. It rides up as soon as dog jumps on it. Would be nice if bottom strap was long on both sides. Very hard to reach it to connect behind seat.

Received this for Christmas. My dog loves to go and we walk and play a lot of ball and his paws are sometimes very dirty with loose grass this is saving my car seat from that dirt. It stays in place and if a human is with me instead of my dog they can still use the seat with the cover in place. Easy ip wipe up with damp rag.

This car seat cover DOES NOT stay in place. My dog like to stand up on the seat to look out the window. The car seat kept sliding off the edge and roll up on to the seat. In addition, after a year of use, the "rubber backing" has deteriorated and little black pieces started to fall off the cover and on to my car seat.

Fits my car well (Mazda 5). This looks like it will work great to protect the seat from all the food and crumbs and grime that comes along with having a toddler. I did have to cut 2 small holes at the base of the cover so the carseat latch belts could pass through.
