We have a koi pond with lots of frogs. My son and I “frog hunt” and catch frogs to look at in an aquarium. We are polite to the frogs. My son wants to see them close up. We release them shortly after catching. This net extends which is great for the job. We also being this with us fishing.

Love these overall. However, I am disappointed that the handle of one of the nets does not lock properly which makes it difficult to use. I should have checked the product while it was still within the return window.

My 3 year old loves the net for catching fish off the dock and butterflies in the yard!

It seems like a great net, however we discovered that the mechanism to twist/adjust length doesn't work on ours. Since I ordered it ahead of time for a birthday and it didn't get opened until after the return window closed, we're unable to get a replacement, which is disappointing.

Overall I'm happy with these. I bought 2. One for each of my kids. I think they're a bit expensive but I knew that when I bought them so I guess I can't complain about that. We've used them several times.When the first arrived I was having a very difficult time extending them. After a few minutes of wrestling I got the first one to extend but not the other. I did notice that other reviews complained about this. I had to grab a pair of channel lock pliers and really twist/yank on the handle to extend it. Once I got them loose, they worked fine but there was a point where I thought I'd accidentally break them.

The first net we purchased was faulty. The 2 sections did not fit together for lengthening and shortening and actually broke wen trying to adjust it. They very willingly set a second one. It worked well, but for the money, we thought is should be sturdier. I would not recommend this for someone over 5 years old.

The parts of this net are very well made. The telescopic feature is very useful for both adults and kids. I used it when catching fish and after my kids got bored fishing with a pole, they went after them their own way. The bright colors make it easy to keep up with. The wrist lanyard ensures it's not accidentally dropped in the water. As you can see in the photos, the net is perfect sized for children to handle and is very lightweight. This has now become one of the items we bring to every fishing trip. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is it takes a moment to get use to where the pole needs to be gripped to loosen up the net to extend and then tighten. I kept grabbing the net instead of the pole which caused me to keep screwing the net off.

I ordered this net for my grandkids :). I have the Adult PLUSINNO net, which I LOVE so I figured I'd get the kids their own. I like the rainbow coloring so it will appeal to my grandson AND granddaughter (yes... they both fish). The net is a little deeper than I noticed online, so that's a good thing and the mesh is a good quality strand. This net is a 2 piece screw in, meaning you screw the handle on to the net. The handle gets very tight and there is no wobble whatsoever, so the machining is spot on. It's also very light so the kids will be able to use it very easily. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase and I'm going to go become their hero right now and give it to them :) Tight Lines!

Strong net seems good quality frame and netting. However on the first use the foam handle split. It does not effect use, just annoying to have something brand new break right away.

Good lightwt net for catching small birds in rescue situations, the part that turns to tighten the extended net is not that tight tho so I will probably duct tape it in the extended position so not faltering in a rescue.

Nice net. The handle is not as easy to extend as the other one that I purchased.

Great net for the price I purchased it to take the fish out of my live well works great!!!

While my son loves this net he quickly got the telescopic parts stuck and it was incredibly difficult to get it working again. The handle also fell off after a few uses. Overall wouldn't recommend.
