We use this for wet food and it works great- less vomit than previously.

Perhaps this is more for wet food. I dunno… seems pretty shallow to me for the purpose of slowing the eating process down. The positives: it’s well made, dishwasher safe, nice material, and a pretty color.

I bought this for my 4 month old kitten. She eats her wet food SO FAST and would then go and “food bully” my other 3 year old cat out of her dinner! I bought this dish and because you can smush down the food in between the whales, it has really slowed her down! It’s also fine to run thru the dishwasher

Seems well-made and sturdy. But not deep enough to really have much effect on a fast eater. Also doesn’t work well with an automatic feeder. The food tends to fly out the sides because there’s no lip around the edge.

Recently adopted an orange cat (insert face-palm) who claims his last meal was days ago (we consistently schedule feed our cats 4-times a day). He rushes and finishes before the other 2 cats, even if we feed him last. This bowl definitely slows him down and he stays to lick up every millimeter of it. Overall happy with this purchase.

We just adopted an 8 month old kitten. She does great at just grazing on her kibble throughout the day but her wet food at breakfast and dinner is a whole different story. She was scarfing down the wet food so fast! I had a similar bowl previously for a different cat. Couldn’t find it of course, so I ordered this. I got the small size and it fits a small can of wet cat food spread out amongst the ‘fish’. If you feed more than one can at a time, or you use the larger cans, I would get the large size. I use 1/2 can of the small size cans at each meal, mixed with a little extra water and it was great. Cleaning was easy and I picked up and rinsed after the kitty was done and used one of those scrubbers with the soap (not the wand, the one with bristles). I put it in the dish rack to dry. No complaints! Very pleased with purchase.

These are very cute and definitely serve the purpose having your cat eat slower. The only thing I don’t like is I wish they had a more bowl like lip. The food does stay on the dish, but placing down in the cat’s mats I have to be extra careful not to spill their food. That’s the only reason I gave four stars instead of five. They wash nice in the dishwasher or by hand easy, too!

Has slowed down eating 20 fold and reduced asked to be refilled all the time.

C’est vraiment super pour mon chat qui mange trop vite dans un plat normal. Il est rendu à presque 9 ans et la digestion est plus difficile donc il vomit beaucoup car il mange vite. Avec ce nouveau plat, voilà maintenant 1 semaine que je l’utilise et aucun vomi! Wow! je recommande! Ça fonctionne vraiment!

El material no es lo mejor, pero recibes justo lo que pagas. Ojalá me sirva para que mi gatita no vomite más
